    Thanks Rikard,

I’ve noticed that this css block is for the main title displayed on top of the page and not under the image as I mentioned.
I could fix this with the css code

    #top .products .product-category h2 { ... }

    Hi Rikard,

Centering the text is ok; like mentioned before. It’s the padding that i would like to adjust.
Can i use the “#av_product_description h1” for this to?

    Tnx,

Ok, and how about the padding of the text?

    Hi Jordan,

Tnx for the quick reply. I used the css code you provided, but this only centers the name of the category without the padding.
The size of category boxes are the same. I could change the min-height to a higher value, but then all the product boxes have that fixed value.
    Even the small ones.

Tnx for the reply, but since it could be a bug in the theme, any idea when this issue can be fixed? Because it’s clearly in the theme settings?

    Hey Victoria,

Tnx for solving this issue. Is this due to a bug in the theme?

in reply to: Question about a negative padding #654516

No problem Ismael. I’m probably not the only one who needs professional advice :-)
Thanks for the css tip, it works perfect. And about the portfolio issue, I’m going to take a look at it again, because I think I misunderstood the concept of these portfolio items/pages.
I thought I could use these shortcodes and widget items to open an Ajax portfolio, but you probably would have to fill in the main text area instead of just the section for the ajax portfolio.

Thanks again for your advice and support.

in reply to: Question about a negative padding #653174

    Hi Ismael,

Sorry to drop in again, but I just want to let you know that I have removed the masonry and magazine samples on the home page because my client is going to take a look at the site this evening.
But I have created another page were you can find these samples (please see private content).
Again, if it’s possible to take a look at this other issue here. If you want me to create a new topic, just let me know.

    Best regards,

in reply to: Question about a negative padding #652910

    Hello Ismael,

Yes indeed. I was working last night on the website because my client is coming to see at the results this evening and I was not sure that there would be a solution on time to remove this negative top margin.
I add it back now, so you can take a look at it.

I’m aware that you prefer to create a new topic for a new question, but because my client is coming over this evening I was wondering If you can take a look at my footer when you are on my site.
In the middle column I’ve inserted a recent portfolio widget, but it’s not working when you click on it. It shows an empty page or just a single image. The same issue with the magazine or masonry element that I’ve placed on the bottom of the home page as an example. If you don’t mind, could you please take a look at this please. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but I can’t figure it out.

    Thank you

in reply to: Question about a negative padding #651761

    Hello Andy,

I think that I’ve misunderstood your colleague. I thought he just wanted to see the website and the login credentials were to bypass the restricted “work” area. But no problem, I have created a user (with admin) rights for you. (Please see the private content).

The first time you have to login is with the credentials that I send before. I have just tested them and they are working. Maybe you should enter these values two times! I don’t know why, but I also have to fill them in twice. After this login, you will see the WP login.

in reply to: Question about a negative padding #650688

    Hello Ismael,

This site is not ready yet, but I can give you the link and credentials of the location where the site is for this moment.
    Please see the Private content.

You’re saying that I should use css media queries, but I’m not sure how to do this.
I’ve set the negative padding (margin-top) in the row settings of my first column (see sample-4.jpg). With firebug I could see that this is “flex_column_table av-equal-height-column-flextable” that has the -100px margin-top.
But how can I change this so that this only effects this first row and nog all the other ones?

    Thanks
    Best regards,

Strange, because it should be working. I’ve configured it again and it should be working now.
Can you try again with the same credentials please?

in reply to: Page name on shop category page #553055

    Hi Elliott,

You’re right, i forgot to mention the password, I’m sorry for this. The credentials are in the private content.

If you don’t mind, I would like to ask you an extra question. If you want me to ask it in a new topic, than It’s not a problem. Just let me now and I post a new question/topic.
Otherwise, could you take a look to the homepage please. I created a product list with 5 items. When you resize the screen or view this page on your smartphone, than the price and name name of the product overlaps.
I hope that “overlaps” is the correct word for it? Is it possible to avoid that the price and name are “overlapping”?

    Thanks for the support!

    Best regards,
    Nin0

in reply to: Page name on shop category page #551202

    Hello Elliot,

It took a while for my answer, but I’ve been testing and searching again a little bit, before contacting you again.
I already found an answer for question 2 and 3. I found out how I can set a color for that banner, display the title but not the image.
At the banner options (products-categories-banner options) I’ve set the opacity for color overlay to “1” In that way the image is of that category is not visible in the page banner but it’s visible in the category view for each available category.
I filled in a title for each category in the description field so I have a nice colored banner with only the category name.

The only thing I would like to change is about question 1: I would like to change the height and position of the page title (left instead of center) and also the height of this banner (if possible)
Hopefully this can be achieved with some custom CSS ?
You can find a link in the private content.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

in reply to: Hiding the Avia Layout Builder for regular site users #542227

    Hi Ismael,

It seems that I’ve send the credentials (for another question) to a colleague of you and probably I’ve changed the password.
I’m sorry for the mistake. Here is the correct one in a PM (I’ve tested it first)

I’ve tested the other link but I can’t get it to work. I’ve did it also in my function.php, but that broke my site.
May I ask you to take a look at it please?

    Tnx,

in reply to: Page name on shop category page #541473

I want to use the left menu layout and when I do this, there is no option for the breadcrumb bar. I have to use al layout with a menu on top.
As for the category descriptions. This might be it. I just want to ask a few things about this.

    1) The title is now in the middle of this header (page banner). Is there a way to format this with some custom css? I would like to change the height and position of the page title and also the height of the page banner.

    2) When I select “display product image and description as fullwidth page banner” the chosen image will appear in this page banner but not full width. Just a part of the image. (please take a look at the sample 1 image in private content)
Is it possible to use some custom css (or something else) to adjust the position of the image? Full width of the page banner (sample image 2), or at least the width of the textual page itself (sample image 3)

    3) Considering the possibility that the image they want to use is a square or portrait format and therefore not a good image size for this page banner, is there an option to choose another image, just for the page banner?

I hope I’m not asking too much and you can point me in the right direction.

    Tnx,
    Best regards,
    Nin0
