BTW, it would’ve been great if you included google map shortcode with matching style. Wish to have it on next update.

Thanks for quick reply. I tried to put the codes you suggested into several files in css folder within theme folder, no luck having it work. z-index still stays at 1. Also tried theme menu, too. What other place I need to try?
