This thread can be closed Rikard. many thanks.
Hi Mike. I’ve tried the CSS snippet in both General Styling > Quick CSS field and in the WordPress > Customize > Additional CSS, but it doesn’t appear to do anything, even after multiple cache purges. Strangely, some of the Woocommerce buttons appear in the grey I want to achieve – such as ‘Update cart’, and ‘Proceed to checkout’, but when changes are made the new message always appears in the awful green. I’ve attached a picture link for clarity.

Anything else I can try?

July 25, 2019 at 2:44 pm in reply to: Facebook and Instagram icons at the top of my page remain white #1121913Hi guys. Got it sorted. It didn’t work in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling so I tried it under Additional CSS in Customise and it worked. Thanks for your help.

This link is all about video autoplay, all I’m trying to get to work is simple text to appear over the background image, which I can’t believe is restricted by bandwidth limitation. Anyway, the text does appear, it just needs prompting with a scroll of the screen. Can someone please give me answer/solution worthy of the £100 I’ve spent on this theme so far – and please bear in mind it’s taken six days to get two responses.
N PIs someone looking into this issue?
April 11, 2019 at 10:26 pm in reply to: Advanced Layer Slider on mobile touchscreen devices #1089738Hello! Anyone will do.
On my iPad Air, my Lenovo tablet and my phone, when the homepage appears the sliders don’t autostart like they do on my desktop pc. I have to scroll the screen to make the text start to appear. Did the text appear on your device without having to touch the screen?
Cheers

Amyone? I’m getting pretty desperate here.

Thanks for all the assistance. I discovered that – for some strange reason – when I altered min-width or max-width and clicked save, the changes were not being implemented until I went back to my main page where the ALS were positioned, and then clicked update. Is this normal? Anyhow, once I figured that out life became much easier. This thread can be closed. Many thanks.

Thank youThanks for that Nikko, but unfortunately it’s not a look I’m happy with. I’ve created an advanced layer slider at the top of my original home page, and all I want to achieve is that it is visible on my iPad Air in portrait mode only – I’ve already got a Full Width Easy Slider working fine on the iPad in landscape. I’ve set the parameters so I doesn’t show on my laptop or desktop monitor, but I can’t for the life of me get it to display on the iPad in portrait. Please could you take a look at the settings and tell me where I’m going wrong?
Cheers
NeilYes, good to close. Thank you.
Worked a treat.
Thank you, Victoria. Is there some CSS that I can use that can apply a specific image to 4:3 ratio (iPad, Galaxy Tab) in portrait orientation only? I tried designing an image at 1536×2048 and using an advanced layer slider, but for some reason it wouldn’t display on my iPad Air.
This is really starting to frustrate me.
Regards
NeilHi Basilis
It’s an iPad Air (A1474)

Any thoughts on this, Nikko?
Hi guys. Just wondering if anyone has any solutions for this query yet?
Hi Nikko
I’ve recreated an image at 1536×2048 (ipad retina resolution) and inserted it as an Advanced Layerslider, but I can’t get it to display on my ipad. It defaults to a magnified version of the fullscreen slider that is still active. Can you tell me where I’m going wrong?
Many thanks
NeilThank you, Basilis.
Hi Yigit, thanks for replying
I’ll post my website address in the private content, but I’ll also update you on my progress with this issue. I did some research and it appears that other Enfold users experienced the same problem. The solution seemed to be making sure all images that are in sliders are set to scroll, which is a shame because the fixed image option gives a nice effect. It only happened on an iPad, which makes me think it’s maybe something to do with either their Retina display combined with their aspect ratio, or perhaps the Safari browser, but then I am just guessing. If you have access to an ipad (I had to borrow one and have since returned it) could you check if any of the images on the home page are still doing the superzoom close-up thing?
One other question I have on this image subject is whether I can get mobile phones to display the same images as shown on a desktop when the phone is in landscape mode. I’ve had to design images specifically for landscape phone use because I couldn’t get phones to accept the same image. I thought a hi-res phone with a 1920×1080 pixel screen would be able to show the same pictures as appear on desktop – the way my Lenovo tablet does when in lanscape. Am I missing something?
Thanks for any help
NeilIt worked perfectly, Guenni007. Thank you for the help. Consider this post solved.
Thanks Guenni007, that’s really helpful. I’ll implement it this evening. Much appreciated – np26
Hi Rikard, thanks for getting back to me. I made a mistake when I said it was the shop page, it’s actually the page which displays the product designer when one of the three products is selected.
The background image can be found at: https://www.sayitwithstyle.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/1920-wide-logo-with-30-opacity.png
The front end address showing the product designer page is: https://www.sayitwithstyle.co.uk/product/five-by-five/Any advice/assistance on this issue? I’m not particularly well versed in coding and was hoping you could perhaps direct me further.

NeilHi Victoria
I can find my way to that file easily enough, but I’m not entirely sure how it needs checking or amending. Would you be able to advise me?
Many thanks
NeilHi Victoria. Did my last reply clarify things?
Hi Rikard. I’ve actually had a reply from Victoria on another post about this, but thanks replying anyway. You can consider this query closed.
