I think something from the theme is causing that un-even height.. The bottom section is fine. It is the top of the columns is where the gap is (2nd and 3rd columns are a bit lower)
So I was able to get this to work for the most part

Almost there, I think the colors are in reversed
On the dropdown menu, The current page color should be #baab8f and the others should be #000000
Currently it is the reversed.

one other minor thing i am seeing
if I am on the current page
ex – https://shawnstoppable.com/research-dynamic-advisement/and I hover over the sub menus, the text is NOT black, how can I change that so the submenu text is black when on the active page

One final change, my regular footer widget header title is now dark gray instead of white because of this new footertop that I added.
eg “SITEMAP” and “CONTACT”How do I change those to white again?

one last question, if I wanted to exclude this new footer area/widget on certain pages, how can I achieve that?

i created a new page with just the links – https://kvldesigngroup.com/footer-top-links/ – the page id is 3116
So I can simply use the following shortcode – [av_postcontent link='page,3116' av_uid='av-ku2m2bik' sc_version='1.0'] and place it in the footer top widget and it will appear on my pages?
How/where did you generate ur shortcode below from?

i just checked this – and now when click on the words “the reading specialists” in the logo, nothing happens – its only when you click on the book then you get taken to the homepage. I need the entire logo to be clickable to the homepage

I was able to achieve it using 2 separate blog post blocks
1 showing just a single post at the top using the single author/big preview block and the other using a grid layout, i also created a special category for the one at the very top
updating i will have to manually change the top post category every day for it to move down to the buttom
is there a simpler way using just a single content element?
