Hello Ismael,
I have added the login details in the private field.
The CSS File Merging And Compression are set to: Disable – no CSS file merging and compression
The Javascript File Merging And Compression are set to: Disable – no Javascript file merging and compressionI missed to add the ID to those.
Thank you so much!
Hi Mike,
I have try added it to two websites, we did it 7/3 and haven’t had any issue with those two.
Okay, but how do we know if this Function works?
We have +800 sites and if we add it to all of them and it do not work, it will be a waste of time.Hi,
Yeah we can recreate the issue either if it is staging or live site.
Si my question are that how can we make sure that the function will work?
And if you have another one with the same issue, could it not be theme related since we are not using same hosting provider?Hi Mike,
We have this issue on all our websites and it comes and goes.
So yes it is on live but we can recreate it on a staging site.Hi,
Just talked with our hosting and they ask how do we know if this function works?
We can recreate the error and if the cache is clearede the issue are gone.Hello,
Are there any updates to this one? :-)
Hello Mike,
Here are our host reply:
The header can not be removed since it is in our default config, but it should not have to do anything with the issue, and all of our customers has it without those kinds of issues.Hi Ismael,
I have created a staging environment.
The info are in the private content.Hi Ismael,
We use Enfolds builder and the only plugins that have something to do with compression are our images optimizer plugin – ShortPixel Image Optimizer.
Otherwise we do not have other plugins because GTM4WP, Yoast and other like that. But the problem is it not that it generate dynamtic css and it can’t load it?
Correct me if i’m wrong.Hi Mike,
Kinsta are saying:
“Regarding the error “the MIME type text/html is not supported” it depends on which of the content is throwing that error. If it is a JS script for instance, then the error is legit as a JS file is not of a text/html MIME type.
And that MIME type is set in the file styles, so definitively a code issue.
Can you ask which resource is throwing the mime type error?
Hi,
Sorry yes that are an old ticket.
But yeah no issue on the site, but our host says this:
if dynamic CSS setting can be disabled, as well as are there any specific settings for the cache needed to work with Kinsta cache ? 🙏 We can exclude certain pages or cookies from caching if needed. Please also send this screenshot as example:Hi Mike,
I can see that others are facing the same issues that we have see this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/404-error-loading-wp-content-uploads-dynamic_avia-enfold-css-on-fresh-install/
Hi Mike,
In Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ JS & CSS file merging and compression it have already been set to disable and we have also tried to set it to without merging.
We have also tested it on a staging site that have no cache and here there are no issue.
What else can we do, to fix this?
I see no errors, but what did you do to fix it beside add a new child theme?
Update: On Staging environments, all the cache types are disabled by default.
CDN and Edge Caching are not available or present on Staging, so that’s disabled as wellSo Kinsta CDN/cache are not active on the staging
I can try to ask them and you want the theme completely delete from the site or just deactived?
Hi,
We cant deactivate Kinsta caching/CDN becuase it is running on our hosting and how should we completely delete the theme files?
Hi,
Well when i click on the first accordion it still make the error, i can send a screen recording if you want to see what happens?
Hello Rikard,
I have created a staging site for this. Can you do the testing on that instead?
Login are the same as before.Hi Rikard,
I have also tried that but it do still not work :-/
Hi Rikard,
I have just tried remove all CSS from the backend and see if that would fix it.
It did not, i still get the error when i click on the first accordion “Kategori A2 – Kan udstedes til”.Hey,
Sorry about that, i have posted the link in the private section.
Done Nikko :)
Hello Rikard,
If i give you access to our site, can you maybe take a look at it?
Hello,
Oh okay, not very good to hear.
But regarding the images not getting indexed, are that something that can be fixed?See these sources about the background images not getting indexed:
https://www.seroundtable.com/google-does-not-index-css-background-images-31239.html
https://www.seroundtable.com/google-image-search-css-25068.htmlHi,
I do not want to have both thing at once.
I want the media element instead of the background image. So for example if i use the align the columns to have same height the media element wont be bigger than the otherone, just like if we used the image background. Is is not possible with some CSS to do that?
The image will only be indexed if it is used. Our marketing can see if we use it as a background lmage it wont inden on that page. But if we use a media element it will, and that will improve the SEO.
I hope it make sense.
Hello Rikard,
So it is not possible to make the Media element do the same thing as a background image on a column?
And this is what my marketing guy tells me about the background image “If the image is inserted via Media Elements, Google will index the image. Google does not do that if it is inserted as a background image.”Hi Mike,
Alright that make sense. Thank you for your help! :-)
