I am having the same issue as well.
I have managed to resize the “Single Product Size” by this code:

#top .product div.images img {
width: 450px !important;
max-width: 450px !important;
}

BUT,
I am not able to resize in the catalogue Image Size.

This page will show you the “Catalogue Images” in vierd size. but when you click on the product, it shows the correct size.
