The firefox private window was fine – so does that mean it’s an extension issue?hmm not sure.

nancythey work in safari but not in chrome or firefox for me, though it’s fine in incognito mode.
They used to work in page, so it surprised me when they were linking to vimeo instead
My other sites are fine.yes I am now using the masonry element and it’s ok.
I tried the video in private mode and it worked fine – it there something in the browser that is blocking it?

thanks – I tried disabling the tooltips and now I see the pop-up captions, but before I had some code to put the captions underneath the images, visible at all times, instead of in a popup. I guess it got lost. Can you help me with that? I have some code to do that with the masonry gallery so I guess I can use that instead?I still am being redirected to youtube when I try to play the videos on the page.
Firefox, chrome, all the same. Is there some other setting I should be looking at?

I can’t really make a staging site for that site, but all I did was install the update, go to the footer area, choose the new option (in beta). saved it and looked at the site but the footer was gray (missing content). I changed the footer option back to default (scroll) but my footer didn’t return. Tried clearing cache, changing other options (strectched option, boxed option) but the footer would not display again. I rolled back to a previous version.

you can close this thread, thanks.OK now I see that it’s a firefox problem. I see them fine in Chrome.
Do you know why that would be?

thanks for taking a look. I added a regular video element to show the controls on mobiles. I was just wondering if there was a way to display them when using a video background element, since it then goes fullscreen. If not, it’s fine like this.

I still don’t see the video controls on mobile – I know I could replace it with a regular video element, just on small screens,
but it doesn’t go fullwidth (see below).
Any advice?
NancyThe checkout was working fine, with no changes to the site when this error started. I haven’t added any new plugins.
I reverted to an earlier backup, so now the WooCommerce plugin is running 5.3 (5.4 has been pulled due to jquery issues).
The problem is still there, and did not have to do with the update.
