That’s what I did before that didn’t work. I have now moved the profiles to the top of my portfolio items, so can’t see if it’s working or not, but I will test it – maybe the update helped. I don’t have the problem with the other multi language widgets I made – just the portfolio. I am also now having problems with the danish portfolio categories not showing up in the selection in my portfolio grid, although an hour ago it was fine. Here is a page I didn’t have the right portfolio options on – maybe you can take a look? I also put out a support topic to WPML but they are a little slower than you guys :)

after I deactivated W3 total cache, due to a problem with anchors not linking correctly, I now see my css changes to the team member titles, but still have the names on the slideshow. Any ideas? Is there any way to specify the team member name font sizes on specific pages?

That’s the code I tried already for hiding the titles but it doesn’t work.
?? I have cleared the cache, reloaded.
neither does the hiding of the author code. The quick css seems to not really respond to changes.

I am also trying to change the font of the team member name globally on my site with this:

.team-member-name {
font-size: 14px;
font-weight: 600
}

but it doesn’t work – I have cleared the cache and reloaded over and over.

can you check it again? it’s showing up wrong for me.
I can work around it but wondered if it had something to do with the
header scrolling since when i tried to do an anchor link before your recent update
it was running under the shrunken header and there was some workaround
on the avia.js file.

I have heard from WPML –

they said:
“The actual challenge you have is that with the Enfold theme both layout instructions but also “normal” text is added to the post editor field. So in this case you cant separate the two. Any layout changes done to the original (via Advanced Composer) need to be repeated manually in the translations again.”

– apparently since I am using the ENFOLD advanced editor, the shortcodes show up in the visual editor, so I have to unlink the translation from the original to get it right. Then any changes I make to the layout do not get reflected in the translations…Is this how you understand it?

OK I figured out what happened there. I am still getting the wrong portfolio in my page but I have worked around it for now…would like to do it right though. Same issue as when I started this thread.

We have released a beta version for WPML 3.1.4. This version includes fixes for everything that was reported for the problematic WPML 3.1 release.

this is the reply I got from WPML that I used – you do not lose the setting you already have when you deactivate the old WPML, but you should run a back-up of your site. This has been very frustrating for me for the past 4 days & I lost tons of work!

You can get it from your WPML account. Go to Downloads, scroll to the bottom and you will see the beta package. Right now, it’s 3.1.4-b1.

This ZIP includes several ZIP files of the individual WPML components. First, unzip it locally, get the parts that you need and upload them.

The safest way to update the plugins is to:
1. Deactivate (don’t worry, your content doesn’t change)
2. Delete the folders with the older versions
3. Upload the new versions
4. Activate

now I lost my widgets! none of the right ones are displaying and one of them in the footer column 3 is just gone!
what happened?? I had quite a bit of coding on that one…:(

Yes thanks, someone else helped me fix that excerpt problem. I wonder if you could look at the other issues I have in my open topics – my site admin side has been running very very slow for the past 2 days. I have added memory to my wp-config.php file but that didn’t help.
Is there any way to test what’s going on?

What is the best way to increase the memory – in the editor i have about 5 different config.php files. Where is the best place to add the (‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’) code?
