beautiful, thanks.
looks great
Ngreat thanks!
last question – can the padding to the left of the arrows be adjusted as well? I am trying to save space since it’s such a large menu
you’re the best :)
NancyOK – can you help me with increasing the padding between the gallery images a bit?
thanksHi Andy –
Can you take a look at that page again? I had to remove this
img.attachment-portfolio {
padding-right: 54px;
}
as it was interfering with other portfolio images on the site.
Now I have the gallery set back to 2 column, portfolio size (495×400), and there is a bit of an overlap on the images. Can you help me figure out how to just put a little padding between them? I can live with the size I guess.
thanks for your help
Nancythanks – that helped somewhat but there is still some kind of overlap on the left hand images…I just am trying to have good sized thumbnails in a layout that works on all devices (seems like 2 columns is best) with a little padding in between.
any suggestions?

thanks
yes! that was it and much easier than finding all the IDs (I will be adding more of those submenus.
one more: is it possible to remove the padding where the arrow was? – ie move the whole menu over to the left?thanks so much! you are the guru.

OK – thanks
what about the hiding of the arrows on those orange sub-items? This code is not working for me, unless I am using the wrong Item ID#s
??yes, I have those IDS, but aren’t those are for the top menu links (Nature/Culture, Trekking, Climbing)? I am trying to target the just the orange submenu items “Destinations” & “Roundtrips”…I have them as ID’s 6096 & 6095 under the Nature/Culture > Colombia menu…see at the bottom of http://imgur.com/oZ3QwkR

cool thanks! That’s what I needed…
I (finally) found the menu ID number for the “Destinations” title under Nature/Culture > Colombia, here: http://imgur.com/oZ3QwkR
and added this to the quick css:
li#menu-item-6096 .avia-menu-fx {
display: none!important;
}
but I don’t see the changes….any suggestions?
thanks!

Hi Andy,
thanks – I rechecked the css (had an unclosed bracket ) and now it’s right but it still doesn’t work – instead it took the titles off my portfolio items… what I want is to remove the link on the title “TRIPS TO:” above the mag element…
:(
any ideas?

Hi Andy
1 – thanks – that worked!
2 – check the page below – I made the max width 300px but the images are overlapping now without any padding between. I’m not sure I understand how the gallery resizes (although the 495px width was too large for the tab content). There seems to be room for 300px width images, since there is alot of whitespace on the right side…?
thanks for taking a look
NancyOK so I put that code in (the top image on the page below) but it’s still opening all the image in the gallery. Do I also have to put code for the gallery to stop that? My gallery is in a tab…
thanks
NancyOK thanks I will try that….thanks
Oh – did not know that existed!
So I just use the <div> tags to target whatever images are on the page? Does it have to be placed anywhere special?
thanks for your help

HI Andy
That code didn’t work for me…. :(
any other suggestions?I see – thanks, but I don’t know what you mean by a codeblock element – where do I add that to the html? I understand css, etc. but not that.
thanks for your help
nancyHI Elliot
Thanks for the code. that worked!
I still don’t understand about the images opening in the lightbox. Where would I put those <div> tags? If there is just one image, like the map on this page: http://andesworldtravel.com/trips/cruise-anahi/#tab-id-2, why do all the images on the page open when I open that one in lightbox? Shouldn’t just that one image open?-
This reply was modified 9 years, 11 months ago by
Munford. Reason: portfolio navigation, lightbox images
Hi Andy
Can you help to me with the css to make the galleries 2 column for 15″ and smaller devices? I’d like to keep the 3 column gallery on larger screens.
Or is there a way to make the content 100% on 15″ screens as well? You see some margins on the end, right? (I dont’ have a laptop to check it, and the google developer elements shows different layouts for different laptops…thanks

thanks –
regarding #2 b=above, I don’t want to hid the counter, I only want the lightbox to open that one image, or just the images in hte gallery tab, instead of pulling all the images on the page…or I could set a smaller thumbnail?
OK – don’t need it really…
Any ideas about the missing revisions on the portfolio pages?
thanks!
Nancythanks
Hi Ismael
thanks for taking a look – ok, I see the revisions are back on that page, but I still don’t have the revisions on a page like this one:
http://andesworldtravel.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=5114&action=editIs wp-edit not compatible with enfold anymore? is there a substitute for that?
thanks
Nancyok good to know thanks
