Thanks, Basilis — can you share the URL for this page? Looks like just what we all need…
ETA — hang on, I’ve got it here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-4-1-gutenberg/

Thank you, awesome Rikard.
I have found a simpler solution for the time being, by creating a background image for the header area, floated right, which is serviceable for the time being. I appreciate your help!Thank you Yigit. Beautiful.
Hi Jordan, thanks but that’s not really what I’m after.
That shows the menu effect – the blue underline – but doesn’t color the parent page menu item ITSELF blue when viewing a child page. When viewing About (parent) >> Team (child) as an example, I still want “About” itself in the main menu to be shown in the active page color.
Any other ideas on how to do that?
March 9, 2017 at 12:44 am in reply to: Layerslider: Slides problems after theme update to 4.0.2 #758122I am having the same problems, and have dialed back my site to the previous version until this is fixed.
Hello Rikard,
I’ll send through my URL in private content. I’m just looking at the main menu, and wondering how to make the menu items BLACK (ie. Meet Us, Let’s Work Together) but make their underline or bottom border BLUE….but have the underline appear right under the words, not at the bottom of the header area. This would have to be mobile responsive too, so I’m completely perplexed.
Thanks,
MHi Rikard, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. You guys are awesome.
I’ll post a link in the private comments for you. I know there must be some way to have an element be display:none on the mobile widths, and have another element be display:none on the “normal” version of the page, right? I’m not 100% sure.
Thanks, Monique, for adding to this thread. I ended up having to find someone else to do it (creation of the right SVG file) but perhaps the fun Kriesi team have a quicker/easier link to a solution we could do ourselves…
Yigit, you rock, thanks.
Hi Basilis,
The theme files are all set to 755. And you CAN edit that file, but only if you keep it to 20-30 lines or so. If you try to add any more, it gives you the “can’t save” error message. Weirdest thing. Try it with just a couple of styles, then add the whole styles.css, and you’ll see the difference. I’m not even sure where to look for a fix to something like that.
MThanks, Josue. I guess the issue is that other website hosts DO allow a lot of General >> Custom CSS entries….just this one (bluehost) seems to not, and I’m curious where to look (a setting? a memory limit?) to see if it can be made to happen. If you can’t easily think of a place to check that, then no worries. I appreciate your help, always.
yes, and it is empty because I cannot copy my large style template into it….or to be specific, I can copy it it, but cannot save. It is this inability to save that is the problem…..when the Custom CSS reaches a certain number of lines, you can no longer save.
You could experience this by copying the contents of Appearance >> Editor into the General >> Custom CSS. I have faith it is a configuration issue somewhere with the host Bluehost, but I haven’t a clue where to look.
Thank you Josue. You guys are so good.
Thanks, Josue
Crodragon, the same thing is happening to us, following to learn a solution. Somewhere, email addresses are being cached (we are NOT using a caching plugin) and it would be great to be able to purge them. Thanks in advance, Enfold folks! :)
Thank you, Yigit and Rikard! I can’t believe I didn’t check that……
Hi Rikard,
There is no color tab (or configuration of any kind) in my 1/3 columns. Should there be?
I have never seen this.
Is there something that needs to be added to functions.php to enable this?
Thanks for any help with the CSS to control these columns’ background color

Hi Basilis, thanks so much for your response.
I was trying Firefox, Safari, and Chrome on Mac OSX, and Firefox, Chrome and IE on WIndows, and they all did the same thing….showing a black field for a second when the video starts to loop.
I did some research online and got the idea to trim the video and also remove the audio track, to make for a smaller file size. This seems to be reducing the flicker to just a tiny little blip, and so I believe I am on the right track. I’ll continue to try to make it smaller, and I think it will fix it.
I thank you for your attention and help!!
Margaret

Thanks, Rikard, but I’m thinking that might cause more problems than solutions, especially on mobile….. Can that particular class (.av-section-video-bg) be given a vertical-align ? I just want the same control over background video that you’ve offered for background images in color sections….the ability, basically, to set the alignment to bottom center. Is there a class or a set of them I can monkey with?

August 31, 2015 at 8:24 pm in reply to: Firefox displays logo (and perhaps entire page) too big #496075Thanks Yigit! Will that also solve the IE problem that Dake reports above?
August 31, 2015 at 7:33 pm in reply to: Firefox displays logo (and perhaps entire page) too big #496052Thanks, Dake! I’ve made you guys a login, included in Private Content below, please make yourselves at home and THANK YOU :)
August 31, 2015 at 3:26 pm in reply to: Firefox displays logo (and perhaps entire page) too big #495887Thanks, Andy. I mis-spoke (so sorry about that) We don’t have a logo, but we have that top color section/banner, and the entire site is being pushed too wide by it in Firefox. The image you see at the top is in a color section and is set to full width, but on Firefox “full width” appears to mean way too wide! All other browsers are fine.
Can you suggest a setting that would make it still look great on all other browsers, but fit within the browser window on Firefox too?
Thanks for any help you can offer. Happy to provide a login if that would be helpful.
Hi Basilis,
There doesn’t appear to be such an adjustment available for the videos, only for a static background image. Is there a line I can slip into the custom CSS that would achieve the same thing, only for the video background instead?
Thanks in advance for your help. Thanks, Kriesi gang!

BUT it does not change the lack of responsiveness. The Color Section and its background are still fixed and huge on smaller devices.
Again, do you guys have some Custom CSS on file that will make that part of your theme responsive?- This reply was modified 9 years, 7 months ago by mterrian. Reason: Solution didn't affect problem
Just to be a little clearer, I’m showing you an image of what it looks like on iPhone. http://xponents.websitesforgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Screen-shot-2015-04-27-at-1.55.12-PM.png If the color section were responsive, we would be able to read the page title. As it is, it remains full-size and you have to scroll down.
I have set the background image to center/center and stretch to fit. Didn’t seem to fix this problem….
Is there some custom CSS that would reduce the entire color section’s size (including background image) for iPhone/iPad? I’m a little disappointed this isn’t responsive, but maybe we can get there somehow?
Hi Elliott,
Thanks. It’s tough because this is just supposed to be a strip of a photo, and using a larger photo might be unpredictable in terms of what shows up. I’m not sure what you mean about making my header “no transparency” —- this isn’t a header, just a color section with a background image. Am I missing something?
