Hi Jordan,
you can close this topic.
GreetingsHey Ismael,
after a closer look what’s happening in the code we just found out that the plugin “CryptX” is the reason why all the links could not be shown.
We deactivated the plugin and now everything works fine :)
So thank you for your patiently support.
Best wishes,
MatthiasHi Ismael,
I have just deleted the folder “enfold_old”. Unfortunately the problem still occurs. I also deactivated the plugin “W3 Total Cache” for testing purposes. This did not bring success either.
Probably you would have to debug it further and check why the intended function does not work here.
The other folders “FeG-Alt” and “FeG-DEV” are currently still needed and need not be considered.Greetings,
MatthiasHi Ismael,
did you change anything in the htaccess file yesterday? We have a new issue and I see that this file was changed yesterday.Hi Ismael,
But regardless of the error message I would still like to know why the images on the portfolio page (https://www.feg-wetzlar.de/angebote/) are not linked. Can you have a look again, please?
Greetings,
MatthiasHi Ismael,
thanks for your reply. I guess now the correct new template is used by our child theme.
But unfortunately, you didn’t change the Theme folder from “enfold-v4-7” to “enfold” in the style.css. I just changed that and had a look at all plugins. The only plugin which uses this deprecated function was “WordPress MU Domain Mapping” which can’t be deactivated. So I changed the lines 33 and 34 in the plugins/wordpress-mu-domain-mapping/sunrise.php.
But if I now activate the debug mode the error message still appears. I’m not sure if this has a real meaning for our issue here…
Although the new template version is used we still have the problems with the link on a portfolio listing page: https://www.feg-wetzlar.de/angebote/Ok, here’s the explanation of the folders:
“enfold”: This is an older template version (v.4.5)
“enfold-v4-7”: This is the actual template version
“FeG-Alt”: This is an old folder that you do not need to pay attention to anymore
“FeG-DEV”: This is a copy of our child theme for testings that you do not need to pay attention to anymore
“feg2019”: This the right and active child theme folder. This child theme uses “enfold-v4-7” as the main template.
If we delete the folder “enfold” the error message (see post above) appears.Hi Ismael,
I see that there is an automatic spell-correction in the FTP url above. Of course, you must use the FTP-host without the “http://”. Then you can successfully do a login. I tested it just a few minutes before.
With our child-Theme we overwrite some plugins and the template file “loop-portfolio-single.php”. And we add some functions in our functions.php.With the active Debug mode the following message appears:
Deprecated: wpdb::escape is deprecated since version 3.6.0! Use wpdb::prepare() or esc_sql() instead. in …/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4735 Deprecated: get_current_site_name is deprecated since version 3.9.0! Use get_current_site() instead. in …/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4735Greetings
Hi Ismael,
we made some changes after your response:
The Gutenberg editor is now active: https://www.feg-wetzlar.de/wp-admin/post-new.php?gutenberg-demo
You’ll find the FTP-credentials below.
If we delete the older plugin folder “enfold”, it appears a blank page at the frontend. Until now, we just activated the child theme “FeG Wetzlar LIVE” which uses the Template folder “enfold-v4-7” in the style.css.Greetings,
MatthiasHi Ismael,
we’ve upgraded the theme, but the problem still exists. Meanwhile, our website with the enfold theme is live under the url https://www.feg-wetzlar.de.
The portfolio images on https://www.feg-wetzlar.de/angebote/ are still displayed with no link.
I posted the new WordPress Backend URL below in the Private Content section.
Best wishes,
MatthiasHi Ismael,
yes, you have to do a login first. I already posted a link in the private data with the credentials above but I also wrote those in the following private field.
Thanks in advance,
