Thanks Jordan. I forgot to look for the menu item number. That solved it for me. Thank you so much!
Hi Jordan,
Sorry about that, I thought I included it in the private content section but I must’ve missed that. I have added it here below.
I appreciate it!
Hi Mike,
She is saying that the “Celebrating 13 Years” banner is completely missing on her Edge browser.
I’ve tried a different theme as well as turning off the plugins but I cannot replicate the issue. I’ve asked her to clear her cache too.
Thank you Nikko – I assumed I was grabbing the wrong selectors but wasn’t sure what the correct ones were. Chrome has changed up their inspect element which some times makes it harder. I appreciate the insight though!
Jordon,
Follow up on my latest attempt — I went into our hosting and did a manual cache flush for the site and it seems to be working now. Ugh! Sometimes these things are so annoying and yet the solution is simple.
Go ahead and mark this as solved or closed. Thanks!
Hey Jordan,
Yep…that is always a first things we try. We actually ended up deleting a couple too. We installed and ran WordFence which will scan the site for potential errors or hacks. Still no luck :-(
Thanks Yigit. I believe that helped. Looking into it yesterday we found out that site was hacked and a lot of the core files were modified. It seems to be working good now.
Yigit – sure thing. That completely slipped my mind. It is now in the private content.
That worked! And I really like the new mobile menu options :-)
Hi Victoria,
Sure thing. I have added it to the private content area. No, I didn’t add the layer slider today. It has been there since the beginning. I’m sure there’s a conflict somewhere but sometimes having a second pair of eyes that has some experience helps just looking through it all.
Please let me know if there is anything I need to do to help.
Best,
Jared
Hey guys, thanks for the recommendation. I installed the child theme, copied the header.php and changed out that line. See screen shot. However, that page is still the mobile “shrunk” version and doesn’t expand. I have an iPhone 7 and cleared my cache and cookies as well as tried it in an incognito window and still no luck. Would you check and seeing if it works on your device please?
Here’s the screen shot
Sarah,
That worked! Thank you. I had to adjust the width size but it semi-works now.
The one issue now is that it doesn’t automatically resize to a full width page. It is still shrunk like it would be on mobile. If you’re able to, check out that link on your mobile device and you’ll see what I mean.
Thanks Jordan!
It was an
overflow: auto;
issue on the wrapper cssThanks Rikard. I’ll keep an eye out for stuff like that. Usually we do correct closes but you know how typing can get if you accidental delete a character.
Hey Jordon, I appreciate you helping out. I replaced the code and now the text on the blog isn’t showing up. I’m using an iPhone 7 Safari. I’ve even condensed my desktop browser and both on my phone and desktop the text goes away. Is it acting that way for you too?
Ok guys after looking into it further I found this and have to make sure it is turned off to make the images clear.
Hi Ismael,
I didn’t try your first suggestion about uploading an image twice the size. The current image is 2400px X 500px at 300dpi. So to double that would be a 4800px X 1000px image size. Am I understanding you correctly by what you mean uploading an image twice the size? To me that would be a very large image.
I also tried placing the code in the functions.php file but I must’ve have done something wrong. It gave me this error and I had to log in via FTP to remove that line of code in order for the site to come back.

I’m guessing I did something wrong but I don’t know what. Would you tell me please?
Again, thank you for your continually help! I greatly appreciate it.
I appreciate it guys! If I give you admin login access would you go in and see if there may be an unusual setting that is accidentally turned or something you may see or notice once you’re logged in?
Hi Ismael,
I understand the problem with trying to recreate the issue. The same thing happens to me with our clients. I know it can be difficult to trouble shoot when you cannot recreate the problem.
Question, does any of the Kriesi support team speak or interact with each other? I’m asking because maybe having more people look into this problem may be able to better produce a solution. Maybe others can recreate the problem. Is there a way to bring more support in on this problem?
Yes, we’ve tested it on multiple computers. We have 12 iMac computers here in our office as well as both new and old iPhones and Android smart phones. We have tested it on the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. The only device that we didn’t have a problem on was a Samsung Galaxy. That was fine. However, the problem occur on all browsers and the iPhones.
And while there may be some “casual” users who either don’t notice or don’t care, our clients care very much and we care for our clients to try and find a solution. I care more about what my client think and what they like more than the “casual” user does.
Thanks for taking the time. I appreciate it very much!
Ismael, here is another site that I am working on that has the latest Enfold. This is a mobile screen shot and the slider is even worse in my opinion on mobile.

Hi Ismael,
Thank you for responding. We’ve only noticed on websites that have been upgraded to Enfold 4.0.2 – there are several people in our office that notice it. The browsers we’ve tried it on are both Chrome and Firefox. All other images are ok it is only the images on the LayerSlider. I know this is an odd problem to trouble shoot. Do you know if there is a new setting or feature that has been auto selected?
As soon as you adjust the browser size it auto corrects itself and looks crisp.
Here is a screen shot of what we’re all seeing…

Thanks Rikard. I’m not sure what change but it seems to be working now. I appreciate you taking a look at it and offering your help!
Hi Rikard,
Here is a link to the site in the private content.
Best,
Jared
Thank you Yigit! I couldn’t find the css for them.
Basilis – thanks for the quick response. I couldn’t find anything online but figured the quickest to get an answer is to post on here.
In my searches both Vimeo and YouTube have the ability to add closed captioning to videos BUT it has to be enable by the owner or the individual who uploads the video. If you could pass along the recommendation to the rest of the team to maybe go back into Vimeo and either enable the closed captioning or something to think about in the future moving forward. I don’t believe it would be any extra work for you guys, just possibly enabling it once the video’s are uploaded. I think Vimeo and YouTube take care of the rest. But you guys might be able to go back into the ones already uploaded and enable closed captioning.
Just a thought. Thanks guys!
Thanks – that works really well! Have you guys thought of adding this into the theme as a permanent thing?
That helped! Thank you!
Thank you sir! :-)
Thanks Elliott! I appreciate it. I was playing around with the various #advanced_menu_toggle options but didn’t try that one.
By the way, is there a way to inspect element for mobile? Or have a reference chart for Enfold’s CSS?
