Thank you, I’ve removed the permanent link using
.main-title.entry-title {
pointer-events: none;
}sorted – mark as closed – thank you
Got it thank you :-)
Hi, I have created a child theme and uploaded it. But I’m losing the style settings. As per your instructions:
Once you’ve activated your Enfold Child Theme go to the Import/Export tab and you’ll have a new option to “Import Settings from your Parent Theme“. Once clicked, it will work run for a moment while it imports the data. When the page refreshes your parent settings will replace the default theme settings.
I have done that 1. activated child theme then 2. import settings from the parent theme – it brings in the logo from the parent theme but is not bringing in the stylings for colours, fonts etc – all the styling is lost.
Please advise how I can move to a child theme but bring in the way I’ve already set up the parent theme.
I do want to move over to the child theme if possible, it would make updates easier going forward.
Thank you, that’s fine – but will it be overwritten if the theme updates?
Also, how do I get the reply to go underneath the comment, it doesn’t read right seeing the reply before the comment.
No it’s still in English. I don’t like the wording on the h4 pingback_heading when I add comments into the page – i want it to say ‘comments’ not ‘Trackbacks & Pingbacks’ – but can’t see where to edit this.

October 15, 2015 at 3:56 pm in reply to: Navigation going onto a 2nd line instead of responsive #519379In addition, I’ve increased the size of the H1 in the title area, but it isn’t working on the news page – how can I fix that please?

October 15, 2015 at 12:59 pm in reply to: Navigation going onto a 2nd line instead of responsive #519250Thank you, I’ve tried that and it doesn’t seem to make any difference. I’ve tried a few different figures instead of the 1180 and it’s the same. I’ve got rid of the search box which helps, but it would be good if it missed off a couple of nav options or else went to mobile menu earlier, to avoid the navigation options running onto a 2nd line over other content.
October 15, 2015 at 11:48 am in reply to: Navigation going onto a 2nd line instead of responsive #519155When I narrow the window to 1048px the search box drops onto the second line over the title bar or image on the home page. Is there anything I can do about this or do I just need to have a smaller navigation menu?
Perfect, thank you so much :-)
Thank you – it puts the image to the right of the text, but it’s kind of in its own column – I’d like the text to go beneath it as well for a longer piece. Is that possible? I’ve put more text in so you can see what I mean
brilliant, thank you
Thank you, please see below link to the page and a screen shot with notes on to show what we want to achieve. Basically there are only 2 columns but because there are 2 tables they don’t align. We want the columns to be 50% of the width now. I’ve set up a codeblock on the page, but couldn’t find or work out a piece of code that sorted it.
thanks.
Sorry Andy, that hasn’t changed anything – i’ve put it up to height 500px and not made any difference.
I have made it look better by using the default row setting rather than the pricing row setting and I’ve put the row with uneven content at the bottom.
Can I get a bit of custom code to make the last row only a specific height please.Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks sorted it – I’m sure I’d checked that! Thank you very much.
Perfect – thank you!
