Thank you I have on the first slide set min text and also set text to wrap to stop it overflowing the box on mobile. However, I still can’t see the text, only the first 2 words of the header. Also, the whole box has moved a bit to the right.
I am using html block because when I used text block nothing appears at all at the front end. I thought maybe because I included an <h3>.
Thanks for clarifying – I definitely have posts written before the update in advanced layout builder which have an auto excerpt in the blog feed, but it explains why the new ones don’t work. I’ve added excerpts now and all good :-)
UPDATE – hosts have disabled ModSecurity for both domains and can this has resolved some of the issues.
- we can now select ‘Classic editor’ so that’s now done on both sites
- we can now update / publish posts on both sites
However, where the post has been written in advanced layout editor, the automatic excerpt is not coming through to the news page. Even if we have the MORE tag in. See private content for links/examples.
I am liaising with the hosts. They’re still looking into it but have flagged up a fatal error on the theme, see private content.
this has worked fine on other sites on alternative hosting, but since I updated these two, there are just a few niggles. Today I noticed that editing posts now won’t update. See private content
Another site where the personal token won’t go in. The arrow keeps going round. It’s very odd as two of them are quite similar but it only works on one of them.
Thank you. I have one particular site where the private token won’t register. It’s fine on 2 other sites, but won’t go in on the third. Any ideas?
I am realising the problem is that Envato have changed the API. All my sites have old API keys as per enfold documentation, I guess that’s why the update won’t work.
Sounds like we create a new ‘personal token’ here https://build.envato.com/create-token/. Does anybody know about this?
1. is it a token per website or just one for all my accounts?
2. What options do you need to select on creating the token?
3. Will the update button work with the NEW token?
4. is this system likely to change again, as I see Kriesi sound like they’re working on this for future updates – should I just wait for the next update?OK, so basically sounds like the auto-update is not going to work this time and we need to either amend the code in enfold/framework/php/auto-updates/ or else rename the old theme and upload a fresh one.
I will try that, but please can you also advise, are you going to fix the update now button soon? As it sounds like this has been a problem for a few weeks.

Hi, the font size is correctly displaying as per the code, but it is the row height where I have a problem. I want it a different depth on the header row and pricing row. But it is picking up the 90px height from the main pricing table rows.
Thank you, I adapted it for the pricing row and works great.
My other query – how can I get the heading row and pricing row to be 30px instead of 90px. My code is below. I’ve tried a few adaptations, but not getting it to work. Thanks.

It’s the same image size I use on lots of other sites though, it works with Yoast on other templates and works with AIOSEO on Enfold – but with Yoast on Enfold it doesn’t work.
I may just have to go onto AIOSEO instead. Do you know if there’s an easy way to transition and take the meta data over to the new plugin?

social share buttons are disabled on the one, but that shouldn’t affect what’s posted onto linkedin/google? Which did work fine until about 4 weeks ago.

For now I’ve put it in the sidebar widget so it is working on pages/posts, but I want it on the home page as well, so I think it needs to go in the header template, but I’m not sure exactly where is best. I do have a header.php in child theme.
I have fixed this now, there was some text inside the accordion which was being seen as html and breaking the page. I’ve removed a couple of spaces and it’s all fixed. Please close the thread.
Sorry it’s the colour of placeholder text that I want to change for the message field – the code you’ve given me works on the text/number fields (lighter grey) but not the message field (still showing darker grey).
Thanks Rikard – all works perfectly – I just need a bit of code to change the placeholder text in the message field as well if possible.
Hi Rikard, thanks that code works and sorted out the overflowing boxes. I’ve now removed a couple of other bits which I think no longer needed.
The border colour code is in but I changed it from red to light grey, so you probably couldn’t see it. I’ve made it darker grey now, so you can see the difference. The name/number/postcode are too dark and different to email/message, which is the colour I want.
Do you have a bit of code for making the placeholder text light grey? It’s too strong at the moment. Can I make it a bit smaller too?

1. Yes – I mean the placeholder text – I’d like it a lighter font
2. Have added that code which works for aligning the checkbox with the relevant text BUT I am now seeing the input boxes overflowing to the right, please can you advise a modification for this
3. That code worked for some of the boxes but not all – it did not include the email and message boxes.
