Thanks, a code block doesn’t seem to work – the form fields have to lay over the top of the image slider. Hmmm….
Hi Dude,
Thanks for the code.
I added it, but I don’t see a difference after clearing my cache?
I’ll add my site info. below.Sweet, thanks a bunch!
Thanks so much Dude! Although I was wanting the same slider image from my Articles + Videos page (link in PC).
Is there a way I can change that image out in the code you provided?
Thanks again! Thanks, however it doesn’t seem like the code that was provided is working. I’ve even tried changing it to Georgia or Times New Roman – something that’s obvious to tell if the code is working. I’d also be interested in adding css to change the size of the font.
Can you please take a look? Thanks!I think I found out a solution (how to edit the author) – thanks anyway!
Would the Arial font work, or do I need to load that on the site somehow?
Thanks!I have already worked on this topic this with Ismael and he was able to help a lot, perhaps he can take a look?
Here’s a link to the other thread where he was helping me get this header/slider images on certain pages – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/advanced-layout-editor-for-blog-post-page/Thanks for looking into it Mike. It sounds like this plug-in is not a good option. I’m not familiar with an exploit database, but that doesn’t sound good. I spent a lot of time looking a plug-in that would do what I wanted (show a row of social media icons), then setting it up but it looks like I’ll have to keep searching… it doesn’t look like the author is responding to support requests. Thanks for you help!

Thank you, that worked great – appreciate your help! :D
Thank you, looks good!
Speaking of Category posts, I see that at the top of each one, the comments count is showing.
Where the posts are listed under the Articles + Videos page, I had added css to remove that comment count (only the category and author shows, not the number of comments).
Do you have code I can use to make that possible for posts listed under categories too? I’ll make a link to a category that has a few posts in it so you can see in the PC below.
Thanks again.Thank you, that worked!
Thanks for the help. I’d also like the same image to appear on the Category pages. I’ll post links to the four category pages in the private content.
Hello, in the two days that have passed since I asked my last question, I have launched my site off the ‘new’ subdomain.
Right now, the image we referenced above is not showing up on the main blog posts page, or on the individual blog post pages.
Can someone please look into this and/or correct it? See private content below.
*Also I noticed that on the actual blog post pages that the full width sub menu isn’t showing up on desktop?
Thanks! :)August 22, 2018 at 6:35 pm in reply to: Urgent! Moved site from subdomain, now CSS isn't working? #1000464Hey guys, just an update. The team with my host has been working on this also, and it seems not all the urls in the databases got changed. They seemed to have fixed that and the site is coming up OK. I’ll be diving in and working on it more today and will post here again if I need anything else.
Thanks!August 22, 2018 at 1:12 pm in reply to: Urgent! Moved site from subdomain, now CSS isn't working? #1000293When I accessed that folder via FTP, there are several javascript files and also the index.php file but no css files?
The entire site was moved form the subdomain to the main one, so I’m not sure why an entire file would go missing? There’s not a backup of this file, because the entire site was MOVED, not copied. I’m not even sure this is the actual problem. I’ve added extensive customizations in the custom css in the dashboard and none of it seems to be effecting the site?
I know Mike here with support made some special adjustments to make the child theme work when I added it, could it be related to that?
I’m desperate to get it working! Please help! That seems like the most logical thing to do, but like I said – from what I understand, the images won’t actually connect or work that way? On top of that my internet connection is slow and I have about 1400 images to move.
I already used something like that to move some databases before I started redesigning the site.
It’s just that the images in the wp-content folder haven’t been moved. Can this move the images ONLY?
That’s what I’m looking to do.
Thanks!Thanks Ismael,
So should that new header image be showing up on the Articles + Videos blog page also (it’s not – link in PC below) – I see that it is showing up on the actual blog post pages. Thanks Mike, I got it perfected now – SO appreciate your help! :)
I’ll post the page in the private content that has the slider that I want on the Articles + Videos (blog) page.
Thanks! Thanks for explaining that – is there a way I can take the slider from another page and make is the slider for the blog page? I don’t want to use the ‘main slider’ from the home page. If you could let me know what code I need to change, I can do that in the functions.php file. Thanks! :)
Hi Mike,
I added that CSS and refreshed my browser but the recent posts widget text seems to still look the same. I’ll post a link to the page in PC below. Could you check it out please? Thanks. :)
August 14, 2018 at 8:03 pm in reply to: Further CSS Customizations for Sales Page to Look Like Boxed Layout? #997263Thanks Mike, I think that looks good – did you change something specific (change the HRs or update CSS)? Just asking so I can be sure I take the right steps if I need to recreate the same HR on other pages? Thanks again!
August 13, 2018 at 7:21 pm in reply to: Further CSS Customizations for Sales Page to Look Like Boxed Layout? #996827Sure thing, included below. I appreciate your help!
Hooray, thanks so much for your help, Mike – that worked great! :) It looks awesome.
I mentioned initially in this thread that I’d also like to change the font size/style for the Recent Posts, is there some custom CSS to do that?
Thanks again. :)
Thanks so much
I have been making a different slider for each of my pages… can you tell me how I determine if / or which slide is considered a “Main Slider?”
August 8, 2018 at 7:26 pm in reply to: Further CSS Customizations for Sales Page to Look Like Boxed Layout? #995120Thanks Mike! All that code seemed to work!
For the horizontal rule – is there a way I can make it 80% width, without it running off to the side on mobile?
My current site has some neat bullets that look like little arrows. I like those. I’ll post a link below in the PC.
