Hello, just bumping this up as it seems to have gotten pushed down in the posts and overlooked. Would love to get some support on the issue mentioned above. :)
Thanks!
November 10, 2018 at 10:38 pm in reply to: Drop Down Menu Not Showing on Blog Page & Posts? #1032109Hi Jordan,
I don’t believe that is the issue. Recently I made some other important changes to my main Top nav menu and none of those changes are taking place on the blog posts.
The blog posts are showing an old version of the nav menu that doesn’t even exist under menus. Where could be this getting pulled from and how can we fix it so that the blog posts show the what I have set as the Main/Top Nav menu?
I should mention that with the help of the folks here we made some major customizations to headers and menus with CSS ect. so figuring this out may take some looking into all those specifics. You’re welcome to have a look at my site to do some digging, but we want to be careful not to change anything that may mess up some other customization or functionality. The page in question is already mentioned in the PC in the initial post above.
From what I understand, the Masonry Gallery is for displaying posts? I don’t see an option to just put in a row of images with titles above, descriptions below, and no outbound links – in a way that is also responsive.
Looking forward to more insight on this.
Thanks.I guess I should have been more clear – I’m trying to find one of the multiple gallery or table element options within the ENFOLD THEME to achieve the goal I described above.
Based on what I tried, I haven’t been able to find a combination of features that results in it actually being responsive (stacking the columns properly), even though the table element has a check box to make it ‘responsive’ (it doesn’t, actually).
I’m asking here, because I’m looking for suggestions from folks who know the enfold theme options better than I do (the support team), or may know of some custom code I can add to make one of the options I shared above work. Based on the many hours I’ve already put into this, the three options I shared above were as close as I could get to what I wanted, but each had a deal breaker (a problem that the help of support could likely easily solve)?
There have been a couple times I have unknowingly asked questions that were outside the realm of what support offers (I understand there are limits), but I always received a response telling me so and where to look for help – it has never been a reason to actually leave my question unreplied to for several days. The support team here over-all has really gone above and beyond to help me set up my site’s new design with enfold (certainly some folks more than others).
What I’ve asked above actually IS Enfold related, and I would love to get some assistance on it! :)
Over three days now and no reply. Bumping this up and crossing my fingers. Thanks.
I’m really anxious for help on this… please see page I referred to. I also added a table element.
So there are three versions of the books displayed with problems with each… would like insights on these three options/issues:First is the Gallery Element – is there a way for me to add a title above and description below these gallery images? That would be my first choice, I like the zoom in effect the images have.
Second is the Table Element I added – this works OK, but when it’s responsive it only allows room for one book, not two side by side, and I have to put the title, image and description all in one cell for it to line up right.
Third is my Homemade Table – I like how this turned out on mobile, but how can I get all four books to line up in a row on desktop?
Hi again,
Just bumping this up since it’s been over 24 hrs… Was hoping to have a solution soon so I can move forward. Thanks!I think it’s safe to close this thread now, Mike. Thanks again for all your wonderful, expert help!
You’re the best Mike, it looks great! THANK YOU! :D
Hi again Mike,
I’ve just created a new sales page for an upcoming Holiday sale and I’m running into issues with the spacing above the title there as well.
There’s too much space above it on desktop, and WAY too much on mobile – probably because of all the customized CSS we did for the other sales page that is set up similarly?
The good news is that this one won’t have a form in the header image.
Would you mind taking a look and seeing what can be done to fix the spacing?
I’ll post site info. below.
Thanks!Thanks Jordan, that worked great!
Yes, site info. below.
To clarify further:
There are comments on blog posts.
Every comment is dated.
I would like to dates on the comments to be hidden.
Thanks.Hi Mike,
I’d like to keep it open for a bit just to make sure everything is OK and I don’t have any more questions on this topic.
Thanks again for your help! Thanks Mike, it looks perfect! :)
September 25, 2018 at 10:23 pm in reply to: Spacing Above Shareaholic Links Below Blog Posts on Mobile? #1014473That worked perfect, Jordan – thank you! :)
Thanks so much, Mike! I can’t say enough how much I appreciate your help!
When I check the page in the Responsive Design Checker (www.responsivedesignchecker.com), there are some misalignments in a few of the mobile versions – would you mind taking a look to see if there are any adjustments that can be made?
Also, I noticed that the copyright, disclaimer and privacy policy link isn’t showing up in the socket/footer area on mobile for this page anymore – do you know what could have caused that?
THANK YOU AGAIN! :)
Hi Mike,
Thank you so much for making those modifications – it looks great! Other than, of course the form fields not fitting in the header image on mobile as you noticed (which could be really confusing).
Is there anything you can do to adjust that so it will fit in the maroon strip like it does for desktop?
I appreciate your help so much!
Thanks again. :)Hi Guys,
I hired a freelancer and got some help with adding opt-in code to the header image of the page I mentioned above.
The opt-in is absolute, but adding it has somehow messed up the spacing of the title – it’s a little different depending on mobile or desktop (I use http://www.responsivedesignchecker.com to check it on all sizes), but there is either too much space above or below the opt-in fields, or both.
With your guys’ help here, we did quite a bit of customizing to this ‘Secrets’ sales page (see ‘secrets’ css), and all the new css for this optin has been added to the bottom under General Styling.
This seems to be a theme related issue, can I get your help again tweaking the spacing of the title/opt-in, so there isn’t all the extra white space above or below the opt-in on all browsers?
Thanks!Mike – you’re a genius! I always appreciate your wonderful help, the page looks perfect.
Thanks so much! :)September 19, 2018 at 10:43 pm in reply to: How to Increase Font Size of Blog Post Page Numbers? #1012046Thanks, that did the trick – appreciate the help! :)
September 18, 2018 at 4:41 am in reply to: How to Increase Font Size of Blog Post Page Numbers? #1011062Hi guys, that code is working now – thanks!
I’d also love to get code to make the number in the single red circle smaller that numbers the replies for the blog posts.

September 15, 2018 at 7:50 pm in reply to: How to Increase Font Size of Blog Post Page Numbers? #1010226Thanks Dude,
I added that code and tested it, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Would you mind taking a look?
Perfect Mike, you nailed it – thanks SO much! :)
September 14, 2018 at 3:24 am in reply to: How to Increase Font Size of Blog Post Page Numbers? #1009762Thanks Jordan, that seemed to work for the “Page 1 of 22” part, but the 1, 2, 3, 4 in the circles aren’t bigger. I’d like those the same size?
Thank you, that worked! :)
Thank you – that worked great!
September 13, 2018 at 10:03 pm in reply to: How to Increase Font Size of Blog Post Page Numbers? #1009667Sure, I posted a link to the blog page below.
Would also be curious how I make the number of comments shown down toward the bottom of a single post smaller (there’s a big red circle with a number in it).
Thanks! -
