Thanks Devin. Your Google link worked fine in the widget. The original text did already have the formatting you suggested, thought it didn’t work. To experiment, I typed in the same original text into your Google link replacing bits as necessary, and it worked! I have no idea why the exact same text didn’t work in the first instance – perhaps there were some invisible characters pasted in. Anyway, its working now! Thanks again.
OK, thanks I’ll dig deeper.
June 19, 2014 at 4:03 pm in reply to: One Alphabetical Index of all Post Titles in Selected Categories #281233Thank you very much! This works!! Awesome support.
Thank you, that seems to successfully hide the html code on mouseover!
This reply has been marked as private. Thanks, the theme has now been updated on the live site. The pencil icons are still a problem as they list a bunch of html code on mouseover. The site has many posts already archived, and it’s not feasible to manually add feature images to each – besides it’s redundant to have two copies of the same photo side by side there. We want the single author blog style. What are the alternatives? Can the pencil icon be removed? Can the html code that displays on mouseover be removed?
I’ve set up MAMP for testing and safety completing this upgrade, as you mentioned that I will have to rebuild much of it. When I preview alternate themes, they all work except for Enfold 2.5.4. The preview is just a white browser window. Resultantly, I’m hesitant to activate it. Please advise.
…Regarding item 1, is it a matter of choosing a font or image somewhere in the control panel?
Thank you item 2 is resolved.
Please clarify the solution to item 1.
What are the steps to update the theme? Are you saying that it is not at all possible?? It’s only been about 9 months since it was built.
This reply has been marked as private. Thanks, I just tried the ftp process and it failed. It crashed the entire website. Even within the control panel, some admin pages would not load but instead returned a white screen with this error (where ..site.. is the username):
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end, expecting ‘]’ in /home/..site../public_html/wp-content/themese/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/contentslider.php on line 394.
Please provide me with specific instructions to update smoothly from version 1.5.1.

Perfect, thanks! :)
This reply has been marked as private.OK, thanks anyway. Your responses are consistently quick which is appreciated!
There is no cache plugin that I can see. Is there one that’s part of WordPress that I should see somewhere? We are not developing, the site is live. Right now I can also see it, but it has gone blank twice previously somehow, and I concerned that it will happen again.

Yoast WordPress SEO had an upgrade. After upgrading it, the website displayed the same correct content that displayed in WP control panel. How can an available upgrade damage a website? I didn’t make any changes to the website, it just stopped working because a plugin had an update available???

January 3, 2014 at 4:47 am in reply to: Wrong image showing on website only when I log out of WP admin #204866Additional testing: I rebuilt the page from scratch. When logged out, only some of the work shows on the webpage. As soon as I log in, the webpage refreshes to match the admin view with all the correct data.
Perfect, thanks!
Ah – I didn’t have the latest Enfold. Added API so that won’t reoccur. The above code made the icons larger and positioned them lower which is good – but the lines behind it didn’t change, so now the icons are floating halfway down the line and almost touching the logo below.
Perfect, thanks.
Perfect, thanks!

October 30, 2013 at 9:43 pm in reply to: VIdeo URL doesn't work when parameters added after the URL #182602Thanks. 1. The youtube logo/text issue is resolved, as that seems to be all that is offered by YouTube. 2. I’ve sorted out the issue with not showing the recommended videos at the end. The solution is to use “iframe id=”youtube-player”” not “iframe class=” or “=”ytplayer””, in a text box. :)
October 30, 2013 at 8:49 pm in reply to: VIdeo URL doesn't work when parameters added after the URL #182566The logo was hidden, but “youtube” text displays at the top instead. I really need the YouTube to present correctly, with no YouTube logo/text and no recommended videos at the end.
