    Hi
    I have an urgent problem with publishing a website with enfold. I have created a site in a separate wp folder, https://southpacificrooftrusses.com.au/wp that I tried to publish. In cpanel I moved all files form https://southpacificrooftrusses.com.au/wp to https://southpacificrooftrusses.com.au
    I removed the /wp in the URL and settings and moved all files across to the main directory. The home page showed but the other pages didn’t display for example https://southpacificrooftrusses.com.au/wall-frames. There was a following error message
    ———————————————————————————–
    Not Found
    The requested URL was not found on this server.
    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    Apache/2.4.41 (cPanel) OpenSSL/1.0.2s mod_bwlimited/1.4 Phusion_Passenger/5.3.7 Server at southpacificrooftrusses.com.au Port 443
    ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–
    Then I moved the files back into the /wp folder and reset the settings and URL to https://southpacificrooftrusses.com.au/wp
    I got the pages back up and running for example https://southpacificrooftrusses.com.au/wp/wall-frames

    To try to figure out why the pages were not displaying I change the settings and URL and now all the files are back in the /wp folder
    https://southpacificrooftrusses.com.au/wp. I can log into the dashboard and from the dashboard I can view all the pages and open them in edit mode but now they don’t display anymore which they did before. There is an error message again for https://southpacificrooftrusses.com.au/wp/wall-frames/

    If I open a page in edit mode and try to update there is an error message with ‘update failed’.
    Can you please try to help me and figure out what is wrong here. Enfold don’t seem to move the files across and update. Why don’t the pages display any more even if I moved all the files back to the wp folder. I hope you can help me urgently with this matter.

    Hi Rikard
    Thank you for that. Now the facebook logo in right hand corner which was blue, is now white. How can I make the fb element in a colour and larger?

    Hi
    I added the text in to description and this did the job. It is ok now.
    I have another design issue that I try to solve in header style. I have chosen logo left, menu below, slim version. The background is white but I want the menu strip to have a colour and the other areas remain white. How do I write css for this?

    Hi
    Thank you for the update. If I replace the theme folder – how will I get the latest version of Enfold if I am not going through the WP interface?

    HI Rikard
    That is correct. The roadside clearing is 800×600 and the rest are 900×600. I thought the width doesn’t matter as the photos get resized in accordance with the column width. The main thing is the same height – but this may be wrong? I have now resized the image to 800×600 and it looks fine. Thank you for the help.

    Hi again
    I had some old code that I put into quick codes and it seemed to work.
    .avia-slideshow li img {
    width: auto;
    margin: 0 auto;
    }

    Hi again Rikard
    It seems that even if I resized all images to 700×370 px the slideshow still displays full width of the page template setting 1310px. If I choose featured 1530x430px for example the width is the same and same with magazine size 710x375px. I hope you can help.

    Hi Rikard
    I have resized all images to 700x370px and set that as an original size. They come up full width on the page and blurry. I don;t get this? Maybe yu can have a look. How do I email in details in private?

    HI
    Ok, i understand it is the slideshow image sizes. I have tested a coupe of things. First I resized images 800×450 with high resolution with settings origianl size. The customer thought that the slideshow was too big and I choose magazine setting from 710×375, going from larger to smaller. The images had no better quality. As mentioned in earlier post, I uploaded some images 5184 × 2768 and added them to the magazine slideshow in this size. Some still displays blurry and not as sharp as in the media library. What size should I have to have the images display as sharp as in the media library?

    Hi Rikard
    Yes I had a look at that and it says, as below
    Hide on large screens (wider than 990px – eg: Desktop)

    Hide on medium sized screens (between 768px and 989px – eg: Tablet Landscape)

    Hide on small screens (between 480px and 767px – eg: Tablet Portrait)

    Hide on very small screens (smaller than 479px – eg: Smartphone Portrait)

    I don’t want to hide the slideshow on any screen size so I don’t know if this will help me?

    in reply to: dropdown menu white background #647131

    Hi again
    I had a look at the dropdown menu on other pages on the site. It looks like the dropdown menu is sitting behind the other boxes ie special header and the colour section on the home page. If the dropdown is displayed on top to the other boxes maybe it will work?

    Hi Vinay
    Thank you for the reply. I inserted the code but what I am trying to achieve didn’t change. When you hover over CREATIONS in the menu at the top I would like the whole dropdown menu to be white not just when one hover over the the page names in the drop down.

    Also can you please tell me how to insert an image with transparent background. I really appreciate your help with this.

    Hi
    Thank you for the quick response. I added that css code into quick css code (general styling, logo area) but it didn’t change anything.
    Should I add it somewhere else?
