Basilis,
I wasn’t implying that the work to custom code this functionality would be covered by support, as you implied. But if there was a setting I could change to implement this, then knowing that would be helpful. I suspect a number of users would find it important to know. Perhaps if one could change the call to display the page title (e.g., get_the_title() ) rather than the page ID? Just a thought. If anyone else sees this and has anything to add, feel free. :)Hi dvbaarda,
Could you describe in more detail how you used a product list to create a menu? I don’t see “product list” in the theme and when I do find it, some guidance would be most appreciated. Perhaps you’re using this method so you’ll have a list of menu products you can include in various parts of the site (rather than list items in a catalogue element)?Thank you in advance!
A sort-by-attribute feature would be helpful…to be able to enter a series of menu items and classify those as “vegan” or “vegetarian” or “gluten” free. Rather than grouping those items in a catalogue element, those individual items would be tagged with those relevant terms (or rather than tagged, maybe using categories or a custom field) and then the user could sort/search the menu items to find all similar items (e.g., “vegan”, “vegetarian”, “gluten free”). At present, it appears that the catalogue items are “dumb” meaning they cannot be selected from within another catalogue element and shown there as well.
Can this feature be added or is there a way to do this with the current feature set?
