in reply to: Masonry categories as sticky menü #1363208

    Hi Mike,

    thanks for your Input!

    – the scroll-up button is great. Can it just be on the /backhandwerk/ page? As this is the only “scroll-heavy” page. Is it possible to define a color for the square-form of the scroll-up button?

    – as you recommended on july 24th, i added the CSS to make the category filter sticky (you need to be logged out or in private window to make the sticky filter work). So now it stays with the content. When users are scrolling down (and the filter sticks) and than choosing a category (with fewer products) it seems that there are no products shown, although there are – This is especially when scrolling down in the “All” category, which is where most users start to scroll i guess. The reason is, that the page stays down and. Thats why the auto-scroll-up-funtionality after selecting a category would be so helpful. I tried to explain this with some screenshots. Please also consider the file names. Hope this clarifies the issue.

    Thanks for you help!

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Rikard,

thanks for the input. It was more work than with OMGF, but i like that it is a build in feature of enfold.

    Hey Mike,

thanks for your solution – it works!

    2 more questions please:

    – Do you think its possible to add the following functionality: When selecting a category in the filter after scrolling down, the disply sometimes doesn’t show the products, depending on how long the selected category is. So if users don’t intuitively scroll up, they may may be wondering where the products are. Is it possible to ad a kind of “jump to the start of the selection”?

    – To improve user experience on mobile: Is it possible to ad a “beginning of page” icon, which displays after scrolling down on mobile (and eventually on desktop as well)?

    Thank you for your help!

    Hi Rikard,

thanks for your quick reply. We are halfway there. Please have a look at the link again. Your solution changes the headline color, but only for entries without a picture. I need to change to headline color for entries WITH pictures.

Do you know how to work this out?

    Thank you!!

in reply to: Cookie Consent Configuration #1355767

    Hi Ismael,

thanks for your Input. I already was aware of that.

The site I’m working on uses only essential cookies and google fonts. For now I managed to build a workaround. But I’m not satisfied: I preload all cookies, including the google fonts service (which is by default not compliant with eu law). Furthermore disable the feature to unselect essential cookies.

To be able to work out a fine solution I’m left with 2 questions:

    – How is it possible to load essential cookies, but don’t load other cookies or in my case other services like google fonts?
    – Why do you event offer the option to unselect essential cookies? It the “essential” cookies after all.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Jordan,

thanks for the link. I’m not sure if this was really the solution, but I enabled the “Static Map API” – one of the suggestions in the post – and the map is now working.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Victoria,

thanks for your answer and the code!

Unfortunately the code does not work in “Quick CSS” or in “Appearance > Editor > Style.css”. I don’t know how to edit the CSS File on the FTP. Is their any other way to do this apart from putting it into “into themes/enfold/css/custom.css”?

Here’s a link to a mobile screenshot where the “button-problem” is visible: https://ibb.co/88ydJZr

    Hi Jordan,

“progress” is relative – now I only got a grey background as map. Could you please forward the link to the thread?

in reply to: Google Maps on Contact-Page #1202683

    Hi Jordan,

thank you for the link. I went through the troubleshooting steps. Removing all restrictions “helped” in so far, as the key is now accepted: https://ibb.co/179g187 Now the Google Maps Window doesn’t show the “developer-message” from before, but a grey background: https://ibb.co/Fn9sD7R

    What would you do next?

    Thanks & best regards,

in reply to: Enfold Contact Form / Google reCAPTCHA v2 #1202644

    Hi Jordan,

thank you for your quick reply. I figured out the solution by myself – it was utterly simple: I did not select reCaptcha within the contact form. I thought it would update automatically after inserting the key at the theme options.

    Thank you anyway!

    Hi Victoria,

thank you for you reply and the css. Unfortunately it doesn’t work in the “General Styling > Quick Css” or in “themes/enfold/css/custom.css”. I wasn’t entirely sure with the “custom.css” – did you refer so this section: https://postimg.cc/w7HX9Qtj ?

I tested both an ether way i got this result (which doesn’t fix my problem): https://postimg.cc/Btc08JvB

I tried to sketch what I would like to do here: https://postimg.cc/jwxhZ6z5

    Thank you for you help!

in reply to: unclear saving issues #1162323

    Hi Mike,

thank you for you reply and your help!

No, I never worked with the Block Editor or the Shortcode box. I use the Advanced Layout Editor (I guess also called Avia Layout Architect).

I can’t point down the missing content to just the grid rows and color sections. I guess the main problem is the saving/revisions issue, which somehow resultet in old/lost content or content sections on the page.

Thanks for the hint of switching to the „Classic Editor“. I did just that and I’m starting now to rebuilt the page …and hope this fixes the problem.

    Thank you & best regards,
    Mike
