Because this is a local install, I cannot provide a login.
Could this happen due to an OpenSSL certificate?
I just installed it on a remote server with an “Let’s encrypt” certificate and now the downloads of the demos work.
But how can this be solved for local installs or installs without an SSL certificate, which, especially during development, can happen.

I encounter the same issue. When trying to download and install a demo, I get this error:Error accessing file for download:
cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: certificate has expiredBecause this is a local install, I cannot provide a login.
Could this happen due to an OpenSSL certificate?
How can we resolve this?
