Dear Ismael,
It does NOT work. The solution provided by you works ONLY on mobile, but it you go back to desktop version and scroll the search icon is not in the right place.
How to reproduce:
1.) open normally the page with the desktop browser with normal resolution
2.) scroll to the middle of the pageCan you have a look at it?

Dear Ismael,
(…) or post the suggestions/improvements directly in the forum.
and what I have been doing past 2 months?!
I am sorry I am out of my patience. I am frustrated and disappointed about Enfold. It is very unprofessional product.

MDSeptember 24, 2017 at 9:31 pm in reply to: Shortcodes NOT fully working with default WordPress editor #856238Dear Ismael,
I do not expect editing the short code once they are there. I think you misunderstood me, let me explain you one more timeWhen ADDING for the FIRST TIME the short code in the default editor some of the short code show the “property window” and some of them do NOT … why there is incoherence in behavior?

MDSeptember 19, 2017 at 6:02 pm in reply to: Burger menu is changing position when scrolling and it gets stuck #853977Dear Ismael,
The definition of yours are already in the ‘style.css’ and still I am able to get the seach icon to get stuck.Best regards,
MDDear Ismael,
Yes … and I did change the value … but then I have learned that the functions included in Enfold work only in specific situations, they are not written in a general manner … even so simple things like changing size of elements.Lets finish the discussion Ismael as it does not go anywhere.

MDSeptember 19, 2017 at 5:51 pm in reply to: Shortcodes NOT fully working with default WordPress editor #853970Dear Ismael,
You have the detailed explanation in the first post … “window with shortcode properties” is also explained there …Best regards,
MDSeptember 18, 2017 at 6:28 pm in reply to: Shortcodes NOT fully working with default WordPress editor #853532Dear Ismael,
Thank you for your reply. It it was the case (limitation) also other shortcodes would NOT show “window with shortcode properties”. Some of the shortcodes can display that window and on some this is not implemented.
Best regards,
MDDear Ismael,
Answering your questions1.) Why are you limiting user? It should be up to the user to chose the values and all the function code should be written in a way that it should be general and NOT specific to settings.
3.) You already know (you replied) about which issue I am talk about.
Best regards,
MD;-)
If it creates any errors it means it is wrong.

Thank you for your help. It is default installation of enfold as you could see which means there is a problem in the theme. Now the “search” icon is moving … and I just managed to make it stuck as shown in my first post.

September 15, 2017 at 10:39 am in reply to: Shortcodes NOT fully working with default WordPress editor #852467Dear Ismael,
Do you think it would be nice that all the shortcodes behave exactly the same in the same environment (default editor for example)?Best regards,
MDSeptember 15, 2017 at 10:35 am in reply to: Burger menu is changing position when scrolling and it gets stuck #852463Dear Ismael,
You have the login details in the first post. The JS you will see in the function.php.Best regards,
MDSeptember 14, 2017 at 9:36 am in reply to: Shortcodes NOT fully working with default WordPress editor #851935Dear Ismael,
Thank you for the information. What about point nr 2?
2.) in order to have the same behavior of all the short codes do I need to submit the feature request?
I have noticed that the following shortcodes does not fully work with default WordPress editor:
– “Magic Wand” -> Content Elements -> Widget Area
– “Magic Wand” -> Layout Elements -> all of themThis shortcodes create only the basic code AND it does NOT show the “window with shortcode properties” … therefore it is not possible to customize it. By “window with shortcode properties” I understand this for example

Thank you for your help. No, it does NOT have custom values / fields. It also does NOT have any custom scripts. The is just one JS function in ‘functions.php’ which is responsible for hiding the logo … but it is very simple and it does not affect anything else but logo. You can look at it in the WP editor which I have enabled for that purpose so you can see everything.

Dear Ismael,
In your comment #845647 you have writtenThis is disabled by default because it creates a lot of errors in the page.
which means it should NOT be used … and it was NOT about the manual scripts … or I am missing something.
Best regards,
MD- This reply was modified 7 years, 3 months ago by midudek1.
Dear Ismael,
There are plenty of flaws in the theme unfortunately …1.) try to use the shrinking menu with custom header size 60px … the shrinking will not work and source code has to be changed (no to mention comment is not valid with the actual source code) … but even when you change the code the shrinking animation is not written in a general manner so it will animate it wrongly that is why I pasted code above
2.) image with hot spots does not work with default WP editor
3.) shortcodes behavior is not consistentetc etc if you are interested in details just read my current open threads.

I did not fully understand your message. To sum up1.) image with hot spots you consider as bug and this will be fixed some day maybe
2.) in order to have the same behavior of the short codes I need to submit the feature request?Am I right?

September 12, 2017 at 11:36 pm in reply to: Burger menu is changing position when scrolling and it gets stuck #851278Dear Nikko,
Sorry for the late reply. You can reproduce it with following steps:
1.) open the page using desktop machine
2.) go to the bottom of the page
3.) minimize the window so the mobile version will kick in
4.) go to top of the pagePlease take into account that not every time the behavior will be reproduced. Please use the desktop browser with minimized window. You will notice that the burger menu is moving when scrolling. I would like to disable that when the size of the screen is less than 767px.

Thank you for your reply. This is another workaround and not real fix. This is not what you would

is a bit of a workaround.I should be understood why the shortcodes with THE SAME style behave
differently and this should be fixed.Best regards,
MDSeptember 6, 2017 at 5:47 pm in reply to: Shortcodes NOT fully working with default WordPress editor #848782Dear Nikko,
Thank you for your reply. What exactly was listed to bug report?
Do I need to submit feature requests so all the shortcodes will behave
the same?By the time you fix the issues I will probably lose my support period ;/
Best regards,
MDDear Ismael,
Thank you for your reply and help.I did not try the previous solution because you stated that “it creates
a lot of errors in the page”. I do not want that. From the commercial product I expect much more and what I can see after
buying Enfold is that for many things there are no real fixed but
workarounds all the time. Some features work only is “specific” cases
(1) for others you need to do nasty hacks (2), in some cases Enfold is
breaking compatibility with important plugins (3) and now I have learned
that some core functionalities ((4) — this topic) are disabled on
purpose because the problem was not fixed … again only workaround is
available … that is really disappointing.(1) https://kriesi.at/support/topic/image-with-hotspots-does-not-work-with-default-wordpress-editor/

(4) https://kriesi.at/support/topic/layerslider-on-every-blog-post/Eventually I managed to do what I wanted, you can close this topic.
Thank you for your help and support … in all of my complains I really
appreciate it and I think you react very fast.Best regards,
MDDear Ismael,
Thank! This is what I was looking for.Btw. the comment does not match the real code + in addition the JS
“set_height = function()” in avia.js is messed up and it is not
written in general way which means it does not work correctly if you
choose different values that are hardcoded in Enfold.I have corrected that … see below. Enfold has many flaws and I am
really disappointed with its quality.Thank you for your help. You can close this topic.

Dear Nikko,
Thank you for your reply! In that case what should I do if I want to use in the same web page “image with hotspots” which works only with ALB and “syntax highlighter” with does NOT work with ALB?

Thank you for your reply. I will create a feature request … although I think that kind of behavior is a bug. What about the “Image with Hotspots”?
Best regards,
MDP.S I know I am a pain … ;-) however from the commercial product I expect much more and what I can see after buying Enfold is that for many things there are no real fixed but workarounds all the time. (3) https://kriesi.at/support/topic/advance-layout-editor-is-breaking-syntax-highlight/Of course there are also good things! Thanks to Enfold I was able to quickly build my page and after digging in into details it is very customizable tool. I am pointing that there is still room for improvement.

August 31, 2017 at 6:17 pm in reply to: Inconsistency between blog masnory and post slider … different title size. #846438Dear Yigit,
Thank you very much it works. The thing is … it is a workaround and not really a fix of a problem.
1.) why the texts from the screen shots have different sizes?
2.) why h3 from the shortcodes above looks different from the h3 used in the text shortcode?Don’t you think this should be reported to the developers?
Best regards,
MDDear Ismael,
Don’t you think that the issue with the LayerSlider, lack of possibility of usage of LayerSldier short codes and PHP code should be considered as a bug?Best regards,
MDDear Ismael,
Thank you for your help. I have a look at the topic you posted above. It was a bit unclear for me at the beginning but I believe I have found a “nicer” way to include the LayerSlider in every blog post. For people who are interested, here are the steps:
1.) as I am using child theme … if you don’t, then you need to modify directly the Enfold files … just be aware that after update those modification WILL DISAPPEAR … that is why it is better to use child theme
2.) copy “single.php” to your child directory … name of the file stays the same
3.) copy “header.php” to your child directory and give it a name “header-single.php”
4.) in you child directory create files “layerslider-header.html” and “layerslider-main.html”
5.) edit “single.php” and look for “get_header();” and replace it with “get_header(‘single’);”
6.) edit “header-single.php” and look for “wp_head();” and replace it withwp_head(); include('layerslider-header.html');
7.) edit again “single.php” and add the following
<?php include('layerslider-main.html'); ?> <div id='after_layer_slider_1' class='main_color av_default_container_wrap container_wrap fullsize'>
BEFORE
<div class='container_wrap container_wrap_first main_color <?php avia_layout_class( 'main' ); ?>'>
and REMEMBER to close the <div> at the end of a file. The end should look like this
</div><!--end container--> </div><!-- close default .container_wrap element --> </div><!-- close 'after_layer_slider_1' --> <?php get_footer(); ?>
8.) edit “layerslider-header.html” and put the following inside … just REMEMBER to change your domain name from “example.com” to the one you are using
<link rel='stylesheet' id='layerslider-front-css' href='http://example.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/static/public/front.css?ver=6.5.1' type='text/css' media='all' /> <link rel='stylesheet' id='layerslider-css' href='http://example.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/static/layerslider/css/layerslider.css?ver=6.5.1' type='text/css' media='all' /> <script type='text/javascript' data-cfasync="false" src='http://example.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/static/layerslider/js/greensock.js?ver=1.19.0'></script> <script type='text/javascript' data-cfasync="false" src='http://example.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/static/layerslider/js/layerslider.kreaturamedia.jquery.js?ver=6.5.1'></script> <script type='text/javascript' data-cfasync="false" src='http://example.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/static/layerslider/js/layerslider.transitions.js?ver=6.5.1'></script>
9.) now edit “layerslider-main.html” and put the following inside … just REMEMBER to change your domain name from “example.com” to the one you are using
<div id='layer_slider_1' class='avia-layerslider main_color avia-shadow avia-builder-el-1 el_after_av_textblock el_before_av_textblock slider-not-first container_wrap fullsize' style='height: 157px;' > <script data-cfasync="false" type="text/javascript">var lsjQuery = jQuery;</script><script data-cfasync="false" type="text/javascript"> lsjQuery(document).ready(function() { if(typeof lsjQuery.fn.layerSlider == "undefined") { if( window._layerSlider && window._layerSlider.showNotice) { window._layerSlider.showNotice('layerslider_9','jquery'); } } else { lsjQuery("#layerslider_9").layerSlider({sliderVersion: '6.5.1', type: 'fullwidth', skin: 'fullwidth', hoverPrevNext: false, navStartStop: false, navButtons: false, showCircleTimer: false, popupWidth: 640, popupHeight: 360, skinsPath: 'http://example.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/static/layerslider/skins/'}); } }); </script> <div id="layerslider_9" class="ls-wp-container fitvidsignore" style="width:1300px;height:156px;margin:0 auto;margin-bottom: 0px;"> <div class="ls-slide" data-ls="bgcolor:#041c2c;kenburnsscale:1.2;"><img width="1158" height="795" src="http://example.com/wp-content/uploads/images/website/baner.electrical.circuit.png" class="ls-l" alt="" srcset="http://example.com/wp-content/uploads/images/website/baner.electrical.circuit.png 1158w, http://example.com/wp-content/uploads/images/website/baner.electrical.circuit-300x206.png 300w, http://example.com/wp-content/uploads/images/website/baner.electrical.circuit-768x527.png 768w, http://example.com/wp-content/uploads/images/website/baner.electrical.circuit-1030x707.png 1030w, http://example.com/wp-content/uploads/images/website/baner.electrical.circuit-705x484.png 705w, http://example.com/wp-content/uploads/images/website/baner.electrical.circuit-450x309.png 450w" sizes="(max-width: 1158px) 100vw, 1158px" style="top:18px;left:-463px;text-align:initial;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;text-decoration:none;wordwrap:false;opacity:1;mix-blend-mode:normal;" data-ls="fadein:false;clipin:0;transitionout:false;"> </div></div></div>
10.) this workaround works with WP 4.8.1, Enfold 4.1.2 and LayerSlider 6.5.1
In simple words I have copy & pasted the generated LayerSlider code (on other page build with Advanced Layout Editor) and put it in the correct places in <header> and <body> of the single post template.
Hope that descriptions will help some of you … Kriesi has quite a lot of room for improvements here …
