  • Ismael,

I have not encountered any issues since your last post. Everything appears to be loading correctly on all devices and browsers at this time. Thank you so much for your help!

    Sincerely,
    Michael

    Ismael,

I copy and pasted the code into the Theme Functions (functions.php). You can use previous log-in credentials to confirm.

    The issue is persisting.

The “About” page is still white background on Mac (Chrome) and multiple iPhones (Safari).

Also now the “Services” page is white background on one iPhone, but is loading fine on another.

    Please advise.

    Sincerely,
    Michael

    Ismael,

I changed the settings you mentioned to “Disabled – use unminified theme CSS/JS files.”

    The issue is persisting.

All pages are working fine, except the “About” page, which is still showing with missing elements (same issue…white background, no color).

It is currently missing elements in both Chrome and Safari on my Mac. It is showing the exact same way on Safari on my iPhone.

I would attach new photos, but it is the same issue as my last set of photos.

EDIT 1: More info — When I log into WP to edit the page and “Preview” it, it all loads correctly with background colors and background images. When I log out and visit the site (not logged into WP), it immediately went back to the issues of no background colors and background images.

    Any other tips to try?

    Thank you,
    Michael

    Hello Ismael,

I created a “troubleshooting” page on the site and uploaded a few photos from today. I put the direct link in “Private Content.”

    Thank you,

I copied & pasted the error log and the support email (it came after a bit). I hope this helps. Thank you again. -Michael G.

    Victoria,

I tested the Gilb…Rooms.com, turning off each plug-in one at a time – no luck.

As far as updating the theme, I’m updated to 4.5.7, which it is saying is up-to-date. I also have WordPress 5.2.2., which it is saying is up-to-date.

I put a link to the screenshot.

    Sincerely,

    Michael Gilbert

    Rikard,

I changed over to Safari, and ww.coun…lbert.com’s preview is working perfectly! I tried http://www.cluem…ooms.com in Safari, but no luck. Both had block editor. Wanted to keep you updated as much as possible. Thank you and have a good day

    Rikard,

Unfortunately, Classic Editor didn’t do anything.

Things have gotten worse, a new problem has arisen with the Preview vs Live. Now a 3rd Enfold website that I am building is having discrepancies between the preview and live version. Except with this one, the live is totally wrong and the preview is correct :( I have attached those credentials as well.

This is extremely frustrating because this is the 3rd Enfold site I’ve had ‘break’ in the past 3 days (Jun 26-Jun 28). Those other sites are still having the same issues I previously mentioned. I can send screenshots if needed. Please help.

    Thank you,
    Michael Gilbert

Edit: To be clear, not frustrated with the mods, they’ve been great on these support forums, just at the situation

    Rikard,

I am experiencing the exact same issue right now on another site I’m building. Preview showing old versions, won’t show new. I have attached my credentials. Help!

    Thank you!
    Michael Gilbert

Update: Now it won’t even load the whole page, just the first section.

    Rikard,

I completed the 4.5.7 update today, but the issue remains with the preview. I tried both Block Editor and Classic Editor. What should I try next? Thank you for your time!

in reply to: Updates Crashed It #1063420

    Hello Mike,

Thank you for the reply. I am still having issues, please advise.

-I successfully downloaded the updated Enfold .Zip file (themeforest-4519990-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme-wordpress-theme.zip)
-I successfully installed and activated “Update Theme and Plugins from Zip File” plug in
-After I choose the .zip file under ‘Upload Theme’ it will begin to installing, but fail.

The failure messages I receive are:

-Inactivity Timeout Description: Too much time has passed without sending any data for document
-Warning … failed to open stream: No such file or directory in ….wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 29
-Fatal error … on line 29

I can send screenshots if necessary.

    What do I do?

    Thank you kindly!
    -Michael Gilbert
