Hi Nikko,
Right now the text including the heading is cut off at the top when I look at it on my 15 in laptop :(
It also doesn’t show me any text on a phone in landscape orientation.I have the same content and background image on the 3 sliders but when I was trying to figure out the settings so it doesn’t cut anything off on a monitor/laptop, iPad and phone I thought 3 sliders, one for each device, is best?
I would like the text to be left aligned for all devices. with the black overlay over the whole background image.Can you please resize your browser window and see what happens at each stage. If you think it’s only necessary to have 1 slider that works for all 3 devices (large 22 or 24″ to smaller 13 or 15″ monitors/laptops, iPad and phone) then please delete the sliders that you think are not needed.

I have now replaced the old homepage with this new page that you have helped me work on and have defined the new homepage on Enfold > Theme Options > Frontpage Settings.

While I was working on the new homepage the slider height was exactly the same as the old homepage and that’s what I want. Now that it’s live it has stretched the background image: https://www.pointgreyfiesta.orgIf I take out the code you gave me the slider has the correct height on a computer but then the iPad issue is obviously not solved. So the code that you gave me needs to be changed so that it only addresses the iPad and not the computer as well.
The code that you gave me for inside the media query I have only put into the CSS of the Fullwidth Easy Slider that addresses the iPad, not the other 2 sliders that address the computer and the phone.

thanks very much for doing that and yes all images are there. I have no idea why they had disappeared when I changed the link, but glad that it didn’t happen when you did.
Victoria had made some suggestions on June 1st which I did and maybe that’s why it worked for you?

Hi Rikard,
please go ahead and try to update the link without the layout builder shortcodes. Obviously you can go back to the current homepage via the revisions and if this fails I have a backup on the ftp server where the website is hosted.

yes you can try to change it as long as you go back to the last revision if it breaks the images.
Do you know of a plugin that can export 1 page (the homepage) rather than the whole website? Then you could export a copy of the homepage and import it again in case you need to? I have also installed a Duplicate page plugin but when I duplicate the homepage it changes the duplicate to the theme default.

I found a backup which I managed to install. So the images are all showing up again.
BUT
Since the turquoise text link ‘Fiesta in the Park’ mentioned in my first post is still wrong I just tried to change it again from http://www.pointgreyfiesta.org/pages/fiesta-details/#toggle-id-6 to http://www.pointgreyfiesta.org/pages/fiesta-details/#toggle-id-7 and the same thing happens: As soon as I click on ‘Update’ all images on the homepage disappear.What could cause this to happen? How can I change the link without breaking the page?

CarolinCan a moderator please take a look at this as soon as possible? Usually your team is really fast responding and this looks very unprofessional to not have images on the homepage :(

CarolinI have installed Relevanssi and followed what they say to do in the Installation tab of the plugin:
Install the plugin from the WordPress plugin screen.
Activate the plugin.
Go to the plugin settings page and build the index following the instructions there.
That’s it!But it’s not finding anything :(
I installed the Ajax Search Lite plugin as well, deactivated Relevanssi, but that doesn’t find anything either :(
I have reactivated Relevanssi for now…
What am I doing wrong? Can you please login to my WordPress and check?

the logo only starts to scale in size when the browser window is as wide as the logo. Can you try it yourself, just minimize the browser window manually by dragging it smaller with your mouse. I would like to set the logo to scale when you start scaling the browser window. Then I wouldn’t need to switch to the mobile menu so soon.
Is that possible?

I have pasted your CSS into Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css but the logo does not scale when you resize the browser window and make it smaller.
Any other ideas?

I’m not quite sure what you mean and where to delete the space. I have put the following text into the Special Heading > Heading Text:
“I came here as a kid and now I am taking my kids.” <br><i><p style=”font-size:20px”>J. Bonnis</p></i></br>I also want to minimise the space after J. Bonnis and before the next Special Heading “The view on a summer’s day…
And also reduce the space after E. RamerI would like to do the same on the other 2 pages that have testimonials at the bottom as well:

thanks that works. But I wonder if I can set the logo to scale when you scale the browser window like everything else on the page does. Then I wouldn’t need to switch to the mobile menu so soon.
