  • Hi Ismael,

I made the import with phpmyadmin.
Now that you tell me, that the parent theme is active and you changed nothing, I went trough the plugins and checked them.

After deactivating/activating each plugin and checking for each the permalinks I found the issue. WPML had an old version and was not compatible with the current wordpress version. After buying the newest version (lifetime) and activating, everything looks fine.

Thank you for your help, you can close the ticket.

    Good morning Yigit,

as you can see from my last message, I had to revert the database.
It would be very nice, if you could take again a look at my system.

Thank you in advance for your support.

    Hi Yigit,

Sorry I was on the front page and tested if the navigation works.
I made an import of the database (state before changing to the child theme), maybe on the same time you was on the page.

Now the enfold theme is active and you could try to change it to the child theme, to check if the links in the main navigation work.

Hi Abbe, thanks for your reply.

I tried but it doesn’t work.

It must be something wrong in the database, because if I make an import of an database backup everything works well with the enfold theme. But if I change it again to the enfold child theme, the links in the main menu are again broken.

I hope someone else has an idea :-).

    Hi Rikard

After checking again the problem I checked also the active plugins and than I found the plugin “Advanced TinyMCE Configuration”. In the configuration I found an strange default entry which caused the problem.

    extended_valid_elements = div[itemtype|itemscope|itemprop],span[itemtype|itemscope|itemprop],a[itemprop]

After removing this configuration the problem is now fixed.

    Hi Rikard

Under “Seiten” I have created an Test page where you can see the problem. Once you click on the text box the url will disappear. The same behavior you will get, when you fix it in die visual editor and change to the text editor.

Thank you in advance for your support.

    Best regards,
    couda
