hi Mike. thx. adding another column didn’t work but i was able to figure out exactly where to drop the button so that it appears in the right place. I moved the page to it’s own page. this is the new URL. https://jcch.org/services/
How do i make the background white instead of purple? and revert to black text on white background.hi. so when i move the button outside of the passover service schedule it goes into the white area. If i drop it just below the passover service schedule it winds up appearing just ABOVE it. very odd. Is there anything i can do about this?
what ARE the other items though and where are they used?
no. please don’t close this thread. I’m confirming with someone that this is the color scheme they want and i may need more help. thank you so much!
so now I know where to change the logo area background color but what about the submenu items background color?
Also, please define: H5, H4, H3, H2 & Menu Links in overlay/slide out. when would i be using each of these? Thanks. just trying to understand the system properly for future.

thank you!! if i want the menu dropdown to be a different background color, how would i achieve that? (I don’t right now but just want to know). Also – why did this change? was it based on the latest update?
i really need more specific instruction so that we don’t have so much back and forth. i do not understand the differences b/w all of the items in the advanced styling. can you send me definitions of what controls what? Currently, the nav bar is white text on a white background. I want white text on a purple background. I want the sub menu items to be white against a purple background. Pls explain to me – step by step – how to achieve that.
pls know that i did not create the site and it does seem like there are a lot of duplications in advanced styling. I have deleted some of them but it didn’t make a difference to the above.
I also don’t know what H2, H3, H4 is. pls explain
thx.

but this isn’t right. the logo was on a white background and the text for the nav bar was black. and currently, i can’t see “happenings” in the nav bar. And “contact us” and “Shulcloud login” are appearing on the next line against a white background so also need to be black text. pls can you help with this ASAP?

ok. i fixed the general styling but the advanced styling is still not working. can you please direct me further. I am a bit confused b/c the font color says it’s dark/black but on the actual website teh font color is white in the nav bar. I need it to be black. I also don’t understand why this changed all of a sudden??
it needs to be black so it shows up against the white background.
and what about the color of the bold text? I couldn’t find what you referenced in theme options.
where do i find this menu? i don’t see that anywhere.
Also the main nav bar has turned white!! we can’t see it. why would this happen and how do i fix it?
thank you! yes that was it. couldn’t remember where i added that. Also – why is some of the text all of a sudden purple on this page? anything bolded has turned purple…should be black.
please use this revised link, pw and login credentials. you can use this page as a model on our current website for what i want the table to look like. https://jcch.org/happenings/
see private area for URL. who do i create a temporary user account for? need an email. unless there’s another way to give you backend access?

thank you so much. this worked.
I am interested to learn about how to create a table. i copied the page and have published it with pw in the private content area. pls use it to create a sample of a table for me.
thank you. now we are getting somewhere! a few questions – where do i place that code? in the cell w RSVP button? if so, where exactly? it wasn’t obvious to me.
Also, if i am creating a table, can you please give me specific instructions on how to do that? perhaps create one for me and send a video to avoid all of this back and forth? thanks.
this is what i want it to look like. picture on the left. button left aligned under the text.

by the way where are you located that i only hear back once/day?
the point is that i want the button left aligned under the left side of the text NOT the left side of the image. I find, as do others, that under the image, the button gets lost, visually. Please tell me if there is a fix.
i did “align left” and it appears under the photo. i would like it to be left aligned under the test. i do not know shortcode. can you pls provide? compare the different buttons on the page and you will see that when it is left aligned it appears to close to the photo and gets hidden, in a way.
thanks. i was pretty successful but have a follow up question. I have added buttons and the alignment is a bit off. If i left align, it goes under the image and appears somewhat hidden, in my opinion. I would like the button to left align directly under the left side of the text. i have attached a link to the page so you can see.
