Dear Ismael,
Thanks for your help. I do appreciate it. However, I think I rather go with a discrepancy in the search results between mobile and desktop than diminishing the search capabilities of my desktop site. Thanks once more for helping.Hi Basilis,
Thanks once more, please see the private content for the link.Hi Basilis,
I do have a child theme. Have copied the code in the Private Content. ThanksHi Ismael,
Thanks for helping. I am doing some works on my user account system, and since it was quiet for some time I disabled the admin account. Sorry for the inconvenience.Please note the change in login URL as well (due to the work on the user-system).
Another strange thing, I may have issues with the whole install. Updating to v4.2.5 results in error messages. 4.2.4 I also skipped because of issues (some elements not displaying properly) but when installing 4.2.5 I get the following error:
Luckily, I could rollback as I keep previous version installation files just in case…
Thanks once more

Hi, I have added the .pagination_split_post styling. It works great.
However, I have a second “Pages:” which used to be before the page numbers (before applying the CSS styling), but after styling the page numbers it moves behind (insufficient space?). Even if I do not use .pagination_split_post:before {content: “Pages”;margin-right: 15px;float: left;}, still this “.Pages” moves behind.
I have tried to locate it, and found the “Pages:” in the enfold/includes/ folder –> loop-index.php. I tried to edit the file, but to no avail (yes, webpage cache was purged and page refreshed after dumping browser cache).
I seem to be unable to remove it. Is it hardcoded in WordPress? How to get rid of it?
Also, how to make the background colour of the current page white, and hover the backf=ground colour white of the other, inactive, pages?
Hi Basilis,
So I have switched off all plugins, but the issue remains. I am completely in the blue what is causing it. I am thinking that perhaps something I have added in my functions.php for the child theme is causing the issue. I am sort of in the blue where to look by now. Any thoughts? Just to be sure I have added the functions.php from my child theme. Thanks once more.Hi, I have disabled all plugins and tried to see if the error would disappear, but it did not.
The page https://medi-paper.com/pharma-digital-medical-marketing/ shows 14 errors of this type:
Refused to load data:font/woff;base64,<<followed by a 256-bit? string of numbers/letters?>> because it appears in neither the font-src directive nor the default-src directive of the Content Security Policy.Note, these errors are not visible to visitors by loading the page, only when going to (in Safari) “Show Page Source” >> “Console” >> “Errors”.
How to solve? I find it strange that it’s limited to one page,
The other error (style sheet inclusion) I have been able to solve.
https://medi-paper.com/pharma-digital-medical-marketing/
I have 15 errors on this page, including one wrong inclusion of the mentioned CSS (which format is off).I have fixed other errors causing 404s yesterday, but this CSS error seems to be something in the theme? Not sure, and not sure about the other 14 errors either.
Plus, on top I have another error with search results as in this forum, https://kriesi.at/support/topic/instant-search-results-are-wrong/#post-91603. Your colleague Basilis has been looking into it, I can’t find what is causing it.
Can these errors be due to CSS conflicts?
Thanks
Hi, sorry, thought I had sent it already, but don’t see my post. Kindly refer to the below.
Thank you, Basilis. I will try to do some troubleshooting later this week and update you on the outcome.
Appreciate the support offered.Thank you for the update, Basilis.
Just wonder. This site is running Enfold too, but I don’t see the issue on your site (have tried mobile search and desktop search). The results seem the same. So a local issue on my site? Is it confined to my site only or do you have other reports?
If only my site, perhaps I should first try disabling some plugins. If more reports, we could compare plugins and see if the culprit can be found. Not sure if it is logical though. Since you have explained abt WPQuery.
I fully appreciate it. I only found out myself when one of my customers kept searching their content on mobile, which led me to check. I can confirm that searches on mobile do lead to results, but generally fewer than on desktop. Thank you once more for looking into this.
Thank you, I appreciate it.
@Basilis: indeed, the results showing after search on mobile vs desktop are different.
Sorry, but the solution posted here didn’t solve it.
Please note: before testing I purged the Cloudflare Cache and switched to “Developmental Mode” to avoid caching issues. The results remain different, although the difference in search methods seem a plausible explanation.
I have added this code to functions.php based on @Guenni007 information:
The search result on desktop:
The search result on mobile:
Thanks for your support.
I too have an issue with mobile search. Is it due to the latest update? Seems the search on mobile is consequently omitting results when compared to the desktop site.

Maybe the permalinks changed?

August 31, 2016 at 4:00 pm in reply to: LayoutManager not working in Enfold 3.7.1 with WP 4.6 #680060It is a bit quiet on the support for these issues…
With regards to the issues I have reported, some resolved magically today (caching issues?)
– Cannot make new posts using the Advanced Layout Builder UPDATE: solved spontaneously
– Theme Shortcodes cannot be added for Icons UPDATE: solved spontaneously
– Sprout Invoices not working UPDATE: on the request of Sprout apps I have activated a WordPress standard theme. Sprout invoices was working beautifully. Reactivation of Enfold did not solve the issue. Sprout Invoices seems to conflict with your new update 3.7.1.Hopefully all issues with Enfold will be resolved soon, and would appreciate if the issue with Sprout Invoices could be resolved since it seems related to the Enfold update.
Thank you Andy, small effort to set it manually.
Appreciate the support and will forward the other issues in an existing thread.
Cheers,
StijnHI thanks. I had tried the overlay CSS before and somehow it didn’t work, but now all is working great.
Is there a CSS code to change the ‘color’ scheme of Google Maps element? This is the last bit that requires change. If not I can do it manually of course. Appreciate the support.
Btw, already mentioned it in another post, but I am experiencing loads of JS issues after upgrading from enfold 3.5 to 3.7.1 which was concurrent with upgrade from WP 4.5 to WP 4.6.
Appreciate the great support
August 30, 2016 at 3:56 pm in reply to: LayoutManager not working in Enfold 3.7.1 with WP 4.6 #679533Hi, I am experiencing many JS issues as well running WP 4.6 and Enfold 3.7.1.
My known issues are:
– Cannot make new posts using the Advanced Layout Builder;
– Theme Shortcodes cannot be added for Icons;
– Sprout Invoices not working (SproutApps is currently looking into that as I thought it was a single Sprout Invoices Issue);Are we the only ones? Thanks!
Hi, thanks once more. Please note the issue is only partly resolved.
I have added the below CSS to the Child-Theme, effectively making most of the changes needed.However, I am stuck on making two changes:
1. Color-Overlay for the image in the Color-Section. Is there a CSS that can change the color and opacity of this section accross the site? If so, would you be able to provide me with this?2. I use the headline rotator. There is a “custom” color setting for the headlines. Would it be possible to change the Headline Color of the Headlines Rotator by CSS, and if so, what is the code for this?
If you have any suggestions to improve the below CSS, please do feel free to comment.
Thank you.@import url(‘../enfold/style.css’);
#top .avia_message_box_content strong{color:#E74D7B;
}
.custom-color-heading strong{color:#E74D7B
;}
.slideshow_caption strong, div .slideshow_caption h2 strong{color:#E74D7B;
}
#top #wrap_all .custom-color-heading .av-special-heading-tag, #top .custom-color-heading a, #top .custom-color-heading strong, #top .custom-color-heading .special_amp{color: #E74D7B;
}
.av-section-color-overlay {
opacity: 0.4 !important;
overlay-color: #E74D7B !important;
}
#top .av_font_icon a{color: #E74D7B; display: block;
}
.av_font_icon.av-icon-style-border .av-icon-char{
color: #E74D7B;
border-color: #E74D7B;
}Solved it. Think Cloudflare may have been causing me issues with this. Rolled back to original nameservers and cleared my cache. All working well again. Thanks
Sorry, hit ‘enter’ before finishing the ‘remedial’ actions tried:
3) Re-installed Enfold theme -> Issue prevails;
4) Switched back to original theme again after re-install -> Issue prevails;
5) Database rollback to time yesterday when all was working fine -> Issue prevails;
6) Returned to original database -> Issue prevails;7) Switched off the preloader image –> it shows that certain Avia elements are not loading well. I am not sure what causes this.
Therefore, I have created an Admin Login as per private data sent. Would appreciate help on this.
Thanks!Hi, I have had a look and managed to change the colors of main items (links etc.). However, some items I cannot change by CSS easily (I am limited in scripting).
– Icons on medi-paper.com and medi-paper.com/medical-writing-solutions
– Headers and bold text in the color section.I have tried to overwrite the Background overlay color as well by CSS in the child theme, but without success.
.av-section-color-overlay {
opacity: 0.4 !important;
overlay-color: #E74D7B !important;
}Hi, Thanks,
Please see the ‘private content’.
Thanks for the help.@Rikard: thank you for the help. I run into the same issue as last time I have tried, which is that my current style.css is not maintained.
According to what I read online, I need to include the parent style.css via functions.php. I have tried so by using:
<?php
function theme_enqueue_styles() {$parent_style = ‘parent-style’;
wp_enqueue_style( $parent_style, get_template_directory_uri() . ‘/style.css’ );
wp_enqueue_style( ‘child-style’,
get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . ‘/style.css’,
array( $parent_style )
);
}
add_action( ‘wp_enqueue_scripts’, ‘theme_enqueue_styles’ );
?>However, it seems I go back to the original settings, with enfold logo and green/white layout. Not sure what is causing this. My style.css for child theme is:
/*
Theme Name: Enfold Child
Theme URI: medipaper.com/enfold-child/
Description: Enfold Child Theme
Author: Medical Writer
Author URI: http://medi-paper.com
Template: enfold
Version: 3.5.4
License: GNU General Public License v2 or later
License URI: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html
Tags: Medical Communications; Medical Writing; Medical Writer
Text Domain: enfold-child
*/Any suggestions how I could make it work? Thanks
Thanks Ismael, working well now. Since I do not have a child theme, I imagine I will need to add this code to functions.php every time I upgrade to new version?
Appreciate the support.
HI, same here, details in the PC area. Thank you.
Dear Ismael,
I appreciate the help, and had no idea that “related posts” does not show when using the advanced layout builder.I have just created 2 posts (real posts) with all the elements that I would normally use. You can see that despite using the correct “offset” settings (please don’t ask again, this is the 3rd time I confirm) related posts only include the last 3 posts, and therefore, there is a duplication when reading one of my last 3 posts (it is suggested once more).
New posts are:
Thanks once more.
Hi, thanks. Interesting, if I make a post without the advanced layout builder, the “related” shows up again. http://medi-paper.com/test-post/
I also made a test post using the advanced layout builder. But the “related” box does not show. http://medi-paper.com/test-post-advanced-layout/
So how to solve on all my posts built with advanced layout builder?
