Hi there!
No problems, thanks for your help & patience :)
Best Regards.Hi there;
Here are some screenshots at Imgur: http://imgur.com/a/giRe2
But, really, I cannot say better than this:“Clearly, my problem is exactly the one mentionned in my precedent post (see topic https://kriesi.at/support/topic/problem-with-footer-after-changing-a-page-layout/ ) as I did exactly this:
“As soon as we add or remove a layout element the problem starts. For example changing a layout element from size 1/3 to 2/3.
Also when a layout element is moved or resized.
Changing Content elements or Media elements usually causes no harm if we keep them in the same layout element. However when we add a horozontal line or whitespace things move around, and the problem starts again.
It also happens on all other pages that we create afterwards, and we have exact same the problem on all of the websites we manage.”
In “Private Content” I show you links to pages either “fine” and “messed up”, to see the difference, simply look at the bottom of the page:
-Text colors are not the right ones (black instead of white on a blue color section)
-Too much space added between sections, even when I set it to “no padding”
-Borders everywhere between sections (OK I did insert the code you mentionned before but it’s still a trick and not a real solution to remove these borders, I need borders for other pages …)
-Footer links and texts does not get any style (normally links are light-blue but here, remains black-grey ones)
-Spaces, everywhere some spaces are added, not necessary big ones, but still annoying …
Could you please be kind enough to take a closer look at it?
Thanks in advance and Best regards.”Thanks for your help!
Hi Ismael;
As I said in my precedent post, I’ve just done that already…
The code is in “fonction.php” and i’ve added a product grid on shop page, but still it results with an error 404 in both languages.
When I remove that code, all is working fine but I need that custom shop page.
Thanks for your help.Hi there!

Thanks in advance and Best regards.Hi there!
The font color issue I mentionned before is at the bottom of the page I pointed before (the messed one) the font color is normaly white… And I notice the footer has wrong colors (links, …)
Seems like I got the very same problem like in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/problem-with-footer-after-changing-a-page-layout/
Thanks for your help!hi Andy
Thanks for your reply;
I’ve already done that (deactivate plugins), as I’ve already checked differents (languages) CSS: they’re axactly the same…
The strange thing is: only SOME products translation are messed up, not all of them (I put the details on private section); At the beginning I believed it was something like some HTML tags that were not closed or some bad written CSS class but I carefuly checked the pages elements and custon code (html, css) and all seems fine but sections still have borders and some texts are not in the right color (only in FR translation, on some products, not all of them, thus it’s the same page design/template), really dunno why…
Could you please have a look at these two different products: the first one is OK but the second one is messed up, do you see any differences in template/design (normaly exactly the same) ? [see private]
Thanks in advance for your time and patience!Works like a charm! Top-notch support as always, thanks you very much :)
You may now close this topic as my problems are solved, all that in less than 2 hours, do I need more..?
Thanks again and keep up the good work :)Hi Yigit;
Thanks, it works just fine :)
One last thing if you please, what’s the right code for me to change font size in mega menu items, I’d like it a little bit bigger as it seems to be 11 or 12px and it’s a bit tiny…
Thanks for your time and efforts!I post address & credentials in private content, thanks for your rapid answer!
Works like a charm!
You really guys are the best support around, thanks you very much!
You simply Rocks :)This reply has been marked as private.This reply has been marked as private.Had the same problem on any browser (chrome, FF, Safari, IE10), thus I have not again updated WP to 4.1 (got 4.01 still).. October 17, 2014 at 10:02 am in reply to: General layout not the same size in different languages #337221Hi again!
I just overwrite enfold_de.css & enfold_fr.css with enfold.css content and now all is in the same side!
That’s a workaround but it works like a charm, thanks again to Zohar for pointing the files to edit and wich lines of code where responsible for the issue.
Thanks for your support!October 17, 2014 at 9:46 am in reply to: General layout not the same size in different languages #337216Hi!
and thank you for your answers;
@ Ismael; I forgot to switch to 1310px when I did some tests but as you can see even when I put the same layout values in every languages (what I did just right now) it is still the same: the layout is reduced in FR & DE but the right dimension in EN.
@Zohar; Thank you very much to take the time trying to resolve my problem!
OK, I understand for the files to edit but may I ask you if I need to add this code or to overwrite existing one? Could you please be kind enough to indicate me wich code I have to add for a stretched layout / 1310px / sidebar ratio 80/20 an where..?
Anyway I thank you for your answer wich indicates me where to dig to try finding a solution, your help is greatly appreciated!Best Regards.
October 13, 2014 at 11:43 am in reply to: Incompatibility (again) with Yoast WP SEO (blank page editor) #334796OK I’ll wait for that Enfold patch.
Thanks for your support and keep up the good work!October 10, 2014 at 9:33 am in reply to: Incompatibility (again) with Yoast WP SEO (blank page editor) #333750Hi Ismael and thank you for your answer;
Yes I did that but still I got the editor issue, really dunno why it’s not working on the live site..
I deactivated WP SEO and WC SEO to get pages editing options back and in the meantime I’m waiting for the next Enfold patch to fix this issue.
Anyway, thanks for your support, I know you got a lot of work with all these updates, keep up the good work!
Best Regards,October 9, 2014 at 2:43 pm in reply to: Avia Layout Builder not working on pages with Product Slider #333242I have exactly the same problem here but it seems to be linked to Yoast WP SEO… ( https://kriesi.at/support/topic/incompatibility-again-with-yoast-wp-seo-blank-page-editor/ )
Regards,October 8, 2014 at 10:06 am in reply to: Incompatibility with Yoast WP SEO (blank page editor) #332236Hi Kriesi!
Great! I’m glad you found the issue as it may happen to other ppl using Enfold.
My editing options are back now and all seems to work fine (I made an update this morning (Woo Commerce 2.2.5) and was affraid to break everything but it seems OK), thank you very much!
As it is a clone site for testing purposes I’d like, if it is possible of course, you to let me know how to fix this issue on live site. Of course I let the credentials live on test site any time you want, take your time to find the better solution for this issue.
Thank you again for your dedication, great theme and even great support, keep up the good work!October 7, 2014 at 6:04 pm in reply to: Incompatibility with Yoast WP SEO (blank page editor) #331814Hello and Thanks for your reply;
– Login to the test site with credenials provided above
– First of all once logged in, activate WP SEO and WooCommerce SEO on plugin page (that makes the sh*t happens..)
– Go to “pages” and select “shop” page, in any languages
… And normaly, the page loads BUT without editing options, just a sidebar with an error message.
Thanks a lot for your dedication, hope to hear soon from you!October 6, 2014 at 5:28 pm in reply to: Incompatibility with Yoast WP SEO (blank page editor) #331004PS: Just updated to 3.0.1 but still the same issue.
Works like a charm, thanks you very much!
You guys really have a great support, fast and straight to the point, really appreciated; Thanks for your hard work!Seriously, you’re the best support ever! First time I buy a theme from you and none the less the theme is great, highly customisable, but most of all the support is even better!
Your trick works like a charm, just the effect I wanted, thanks you so much!
Thanks also for your kindness, I’ll surely share the website in the showcase when it will be finished.
I greatly appreciate your company and I’ll let know about your professionalism around me, do not change a thing, you’re just fine!
Thanks for all your work,
A happy customer :)Hi again!
I’ve searched a lot but still cannot find that little option so I come back to you.. Again!
I’ve created a masonry gallery on the site homepage (you can see that here: http://www.risebcn.com/site/ ) BUT there’s a grey #EEEEEE background and I’d really like to get rid of it and replace it by a white BG, please could you be kind enough to tell me wich CSS style do I need to override or wich file I need to edit to achieve this?
Thanks in advance for your answer!I think I got it..
Playing with layout.css and custon.css I’ve modified these lines:
/* General Custom CSS */
.header_bg{
position: absolute;
top:0;
left:0;
width:100%;
height:100%;
opacity:0;
filter:alpha(opacity=0); /* For IE8 and earlier */
z-index: 0;
-webkit-transition: all 0.4s ease-in-out;
-moz-transition: all 0.4s ease-in-out;
transition: all 0.4s ease-in-out;
-webkit-perspective: 1000px;
-webkit-backface-visibility: hidden;
}
From opacity:0,95 to: opacity:0 and it seems to work
Now I have to get rid of these tiny 1px grey lines above, under and on the side of the menus and I’ll be just fine!
Thanks for your support and congratulations for such a reactivity and your quick answers!This reply has been marked as private. -
