All we have in the colour section is a video link, not a big background slider :(
Thanks! We have just tested it on android and the links work!, Im testing on opera mini on my iphone, what browser did you test on your phone?
Thanks Yigit, so if we gave the colour section an ID would we need a more advanced developer to set the slider in position or is there a line of code on your side that would work?
That would finish the ticket off perfectly :)
Thanks Royaltask! our here is the link http://dev.mcewan.co.za,
Im going to delete this message after you have tested if that is cool
The issue might not be on our side with this, hopefully you could tag someone in this, we have 3 content blocks on a colour section. The colour section is set to 100% of the browser so the content will ” Content within the section will be centered vertically within the section”.
The parent container is set to “display: table” and the content blocks are set to “display: table-cells”, disabling the display table and tables cells sorts out the resizing issue in firefox, but then the content is not centered vertically any more in the colour section, it moves up near the menu.
We are investigating the use of position: relative and specifying a top: 50% property.
What do you advise?
Thanks Devin, we just adde some styling to the menu, colours etc, so hope thats not causing it, we also having resize issues in firefox..
sorry i don’t know what you mean? This is a responsive site, it is meant to resize? We test the site at different widths so we know it will look good on most mobile devices. At this point anyone using firefox on their mobile device will have a terrible experience.
We don’t have any 3rd party plugins, except buddypress. We disabled it but there is still no change.
Hey Dev, sorry i didnt see those setting for the video/mobile fall back :P
In terms of the iphone buttons i’m using IOS7.1.2, the menu comes up but absolutely nothing happens when i try push one.
Tested on iphone in safari, and opera mini browsers
Also our links on the fly out mobile menu are not working when on a mobile device… we have tested it on an iphone.
Getting pretty stressed out now :P But still managing!
Would it be possible to position one of the theme sliders like you have said to the colour section and use it as the background slider? Would i need to firebug the colour section ID? Or can i add my own ID to it?
Ok thank you! I think that will help us a lot, we are finished work now here, so i guess if there are more issues i will speak to you tomorrow :) Is it ok if we try this out before we close this ticket?
The full screen background slider we are using is also not responsive and the image distorts on lower resolutions.
sorry that full screen slide show on the home page we had to code in with some custom hacks using the child theme style.css file. But it effects all the theme colour styling so it is messy. I thought maybe there was an easier more stable way to do this with the them layout options.

Yes you can :)
thank you Yigit! Your service is at top level these days! Means so much to me, thank you.
I set it to 17% because there was a little bit of an overlap when the browser was resized to a smaller window.
I have on or 2 more questions pertaining to my current project. Is it better to open a new ticket for each, as they are not related to each other?
