Never mind, just added a little extra padding to the main content, and that did it.
.content, .sidebar {
padding-top: 256px;
padding-bottom: 48px; }Hi,
I tried the code provided by Jordan and it does exactly what I want, IF I choose to unstick the header.
If I try to make the header sticky, part of the top of the page disappears under the header (and I can’t scroll up further). I have a fixed header height set for the menu below the image. See link.
I want the header menu to be sticky but the top bar (the image) to be unsticky (I already tried setting sticky for both but it made no difference).
Any advice?
Thanks,
MaykHi Yigit,
Never mind, I found a workaround by giving the banners I needed fixed a custom ID and just applying your code to that ID.
Thanks,
MaykHi,
Sorry for replying to such an old post, but I have tried this solution and while it disables the fade-in, it also disables all buttons from the slider. Is there a way to disable the fade-in but keep the option to display captions and buttons (they can be static)?
Thanks
Hi Yigit,
You were completely right, that did the trick.
Thanks a lot for your help!
MaykHi,
Unfortunately, that hasn’t worked. The letters in the promobox button are still blue. Any other ideas?
Kind regards,

I don’t really understand what you’re asking. Do you need admin access to the wordpress page? The page link I included in the previous post is the page that has the problem (it’s the button in the promobox just above the footer).
Here you go. It appears to (also?) be a browser issue; when I test on my Surface (either Chrome or MS Edge) it shows the blue letters, as does MS Edge on my desktop. However, when I use Chrome on my desktop the letters are white as expected. Can’t really put my finger on it.
