My apologies,
The below css was messing things up. All working now, thanks for your help!
.hidden {
position: unset !important;
}I’ve found a workaround using the below code but it’s not 100% effective so would be interested to see if you can think of a better way to accomplish the task? –
.avia-content-slider-inner > div:nth-child(1) > article > div > header > h3 > a {
padding: 33px 103px 160px 33px !important;
margin-left: -33px !important;
}.avia-content-slider-inner > div:nth-child(2) > article > div > header > h3 > a {
padding: 33px 103px 160px 33px !important;
margin-left: -33px !important;
}.avia-content-slider-inner > div:nth-child(3) > article > div > header > h3 > a {
padding: 33px 103px 160px 33px !important;
margin-left: -33px !important;
}.avia-content-slider-inner > div:nth-child(4) > article > div > header > h3 > a {
padding: 33px 103px 160px 33px !important;
margin-left: -33px !important;
}Hi,
At first, I thought Ismael had sorted my issue but sadly it hasn’t worked. When I hover over an image in the post slider it now changes the cursor from a pointer to a hand which implies that the image is clickable but sadly, it doesn’t link to the post itself. It just seems like a blank link has been applied to the images. How can I get the entire image to click through to the posts rather than just the post title?
Thanks,
MattFebruary 24, 2021 at 1:42 pm in reply to: Differences in Blog Posts Element on Categories pages #1283394That’s great, thank you. Do you have any idea why the br in the footer is different on only post category pages?
On this page (http://staging1.thomasrecruitment.co.uk/), the text in the footer is tight together compared to on the following pages –
http://staging1.thomasrecruitment.co.uk/category/fmcg/
http://staging1.thomasrecruitment.co.uk/category/professional/
http://staging1.thomasrecruitment.co.uk/category/industrial/
http://staging1.thomasrecruitment.co.uk/category/driving-jobs/

MattFebruary 23, 2021 at 5:17 pm in reply to: Differences in Blog Posts Element on Categories pages #1283139Also, just noticed that the spacing in the footer is also broken on the category pages, any idea why that would be?
Thanks,
MattPerfect, thank you!
Thank you Ismael. I’m replying here rather than creating a new topic just because you missed one point in my questions above so would still apply to my original message and may help others…
3. Is there a way to make the entire image and all text link to the post, as opposed to just the post titles?
Thanks,
MattHi,
I’ve added the site to private content below. It’s a piece of code provided by One Tree, a Gift Voucher system.
Cheers,
MattHi,
Can anyone help with my problem above? Sorry to be pushy but this site was meant to go live on monday and the client is down my ear all the time.
Cheers,
MattGreat that’s sorted it but just noticed even though that worked it’s still saying there’s a problem with maps in events, for example – http://westvalecatholics.org.uk/event/prayer-group/2016-08-25/
Any ideas?
Cheers,
MattHi there,
I’ve updated Enfold and got an API Key for maps but it still won’t allow me to fetch coordinates
Any ideas?
Cheers
Mattyeah of course
Thanks,
MattHi guys thanks for the help so far but none of the plugins were at fault and installing enfold again didn’t fix it, really confusing me. Could you try anything else?
Cheers,
MattNoticed it the day I sent you this ticket, I haven’t modified theme files :/ perhaps you could log in and take a look around the site?
Cheers,
MattI found an easier way through text so can I have this open as a button?
This is what’s in the code block – “Request a demo
<div style=”display:none” class=”fancybox-hidden”>
<div id=”contact_form_pop”>
[contact-form-7 id=”342″ title=”Contact form 1″]</div>
</div>”Cheers
Hmmm, so is it possible to have a popup enfold contact form from an enfold full width button or button?
Cheers
Thanks for your help, turns out it was a clash between events calendar and a plugin we use called content timeline.
Cheers
I’ve tried it on iPhone 4, 5 and 6 as well as a samsung and a Oneplus One, so it seems to be all mobile devices and only on the events page.
Cheers
Ah I’ve sorted it, it was due to some inconsistencies with permissions.
Thanks for your help anyway.
Cheers,
Mattdetails below,
Thanks,
MattSorry to keep on going with this but it turns out the problem isn’t solved. If I make a change to any settings in enfold theme settings, it empties enfold.css and kicks out the style of the site, then if I restore the enfold.css file the site is fine again but ultimately, I can’t change any theme styles.
Hopefully you can help.
Matt
I’ve sorted this problem, just in case anyone else runs into this issue, my enfold.css file was empty, really not sure how this could have randomly happened but restoring it from a backup fixed the issue.
I’ve noticed enfold.cc is empty…
Does that help you?
SAME THING HAS JUST HAPPENED ON A DIFFERENT SITE THAT I WAS ABOUT TO PUT LIVE – http://yogicommsdev.co.uk/epos/
PLEASE HELP
I did that and now the site’s styling has been kicked out
Thanks,
Matt- This reply was modified 8 years, 10 months ago by mattwilliamsyogi.
That’s sorted it, I’ve really heavily customised this site so I’d imagine I’ve caused some sort of clash in the quick css.
Cheers for your help,
MattSorry, someone in the office had removed the banner, you can see the difference now when you look at the example page,
Thanks,
MattHi, updated, same problem persists
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
MattI’ve sorted it if you take a look at the link again. On mobile though, I’d like the featured image full width and the post content below that, also full width, is that possible?
Thanks,
MattWhat I mean is, the same layout as I already have, so featured image aligned left and text to the right of it.
But I want the image to be bigger (200×200) and then the text should move across to the right a little bit once the image is larger. So basically, the image that is there, can I make it wider and higher?
Thanks,
matt -
