Hi Rikard,
This was solved – it can be closed.
Hi Basilis,
Thanks a lot for the info – will try this out as I usually overwrite the theme rather than delete it and re-upload it.
Will keep you posted.
Matt
Hi Ismael,
Thanks for pointing this out, I updated the theme and now they are working perfectly.
I have had an issue however when I updated where I need to involve my tech. Once I updated the theme I got a blank website (total white) and after a few refreshes I got HTTP Error 500. I called my tech and he had to do the following:
Had to comment out the following:
av_countdown_events_fallback() function at wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown.php
av_upcoming_events_fallback() function at wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_upcoming/events_upcoming.php
Any idea why this is happening as if I recall, I think we had the same problem with the last update.
Thanks a lot!
Hi Ismael,
I enabled the border option and I added your code to the quick css but it didn’t seem to do the trick.
Any further info appreciated.
Matt
Hi Ismael,
I amended your code slightly and it seems to be working on the browsers on a Macbook Pro and a PC Laptop. Will still need to test it out on smaller screens but so far – we’re happy with the result.
#services .av_one_fourth { margin-left: 4%; width: 29.333333333333332%; } #services .av_one_third{ margin-left: 6%; width: 29.333333333333332%; }
Thanks for your help!

It’s because it’s the only solution, for now, not to have the text overlapping on the stripes.
But, as stated before, the client requires for the columns to be all the same width and the text not overlapping on the stripes.
Hi Rikard,
The text now is not overlapping on any browser since I managed to sort out the widths of the containers. What I could see is that the backend of the theme changed slightly with the new update (as far I my memory serves me as it’s not the best).
So now yes, it’s a different issue where I have the columns which do not have equal widths and I need these to be so and not to overlap onto the stripes.
The website should be up and running now.
Thanks for your time.
Hi Rikard,
I’ve been playing with the containers as you requested but unfortunately neither myself nor the client is happy with the result. Reasons are as follows:
Either the container gets narrowed down too much and the text is not fully visible: https://imgur.com/a/VP3Ur
One of the containers is wider while the other two are narrower: https://imgur.com/a/M2dX7These are icon elements which are inside three separate layout elements – not sure if there is one element that could make this cleaner.
Hi Basilis,
I don’t think that it is the issue though because I opened up the website from the same Mac and I got the results as per above on the different browsers.
Safari on Mac: https://imgur.com/a/Q5G4t
Google Chrome on the same Mac: https://imgur.com/a/ebrru
Firefox on the same Mac: https://imgur.com/a/Nljd9All at 100% zoom/actual size.
Any other solution to this, please?

After a bit of more digging through the code I actually found out that I had a -1px margin for some reason (think it was done automatically from the theme?
I added this little bit of snippet which is working fine now:
.sidebar_tab .tab_titles .tab{ margin: 0 0 0 0; }

August 1, 2017 at 4:49 pm in reply to: Extra Main Menu on Desktop, Hamburger Menu Not Working on Mobile #832965Hi Rikard,
I cleared the cache on my mobile browser and we’re almost there. Desktop version is fine but on the mobile menu now I have the burger menu on the right hand side but I lost my social media bar which is supposed to show on the top right.
I also removed the code that Mike forwarded earlier and the result on the mobile is clean, the only thing missing now is the social media bar.
Currently on mobile: https://imgur.com/a/oeHv5

July 31, 2017 at 10:48 am in reply to: Extra Main Menu on Desktop, Hamburger Menu Not Working on Mobile #832044Hi Mike,
Thanks for getting back to me. Before adding the code above, the desktop version was fine and I didn’t have those unnecessary links.
After adding the code above though, the mobile version, remains unchanged with the burger icon not showing and no menu available.
Thanks and Regards

April 5, 2017 at 10:43 am in reply to: Fixed Height for Thumbnail of Featured Image Post Slider #772382Thanks a lot Ismael, have a good one!
Hi Victoria,
After the issue with Ismael has been resolved, all of the plugins were disabled and the change of the title from top to bottom was barely visible. However, now that I’ve re-enabled them all I’ve figured out that the JetPack plugin is the one that causes the major delay of the title going from the bottom to the top. Is there a solution for this? I cannot uninstall or remove the JetPack plugin due to back end statistics for the client.
Thanks and Regards,
Matt
April 4, 2017 at 1:15 pm in reply to: Fixed Height for Thumbnail of Featured Image Post Slider #771733Hi Ismael,
Thanks a lot for this – I’ve regenerated the thumbnails accordingly and I’ll keep an eye out for the images on the post slider so hopefully any future images will be cropped properly.
Hi Victoria,
Unfortunately I have no idea where that is from. But Ismael should be looking at my site as there is another issue regarding javascript/jQuery so hopefully that will solve it. I’ll post a reply to this once it’s solved.
Thanks and Regards,

Yes it’s not a problem at all.
Thanks!

Hi Victoria,
Thanks for pointing this out. Unfortunately I don’t know how to solve javascript errors but I’ve already disabled the lighbox plugin as it seemed that there was an issue with that from my other post. Are there further plugins that I should disable which are giving these types of errors?
Thanks and Regards.

March 28, 2017 at 2:38 pm in reply to: Fixed Height for Thumbnail of Featured Image Post Slider #768162Hi Ismael,
Thanks for this. The preview image size was set before to manual and the Featured Image size of 1500 x 630 was chosen. I’ve disabled and uninstalled the lightbox plugin as you told me and I’ve also deactivated it from Enfold too but the thumbnail still seems to be showing more than 630. Is there anything else I can do?
Thanks and Regards,
Matt
