you mean in the a/m functions.php code the size of the image for “entry with sidebar” should have 675px instead of 875px or “auto”? Sorry, I am a little confused right now :-( . Thus please be a little patient with me :-) . Hope you can help. Thanks so much in advance.

Hi Ismael,

to the recipe post I set the parent category to “Recipes” and subcategory to “Icecreams” (please screenshots in private content box). Then I added your a/m code to functions.php and your a/m CSS code in the Quick CSS field. But nothing changed, the recipe post still jumps to blog menu item :-( .

The other (parent) category name is “lebensart” (in English lifestyle), please kindly see screenshot attached as well.

Don’t know what I am doing wrong here. Your help is really appreciated. Thanks so much in advance.

not a problem, I will explain again and also send you the login details in private content since my website is still in maintenance mode and not online yet.

In my main menu I have (among others) the pages “Recipes”, “Lifestyle” and “Blog”. And all these pages use your ALB Masonry Element with category posts. So, when clicking on the menu item “Recipes”, the page opens with all the recipe posts. Now when clicking on a post, the single recipe post opens and the (green) active menu indicator jumps from menu item “Recipes” to “Blog”. But the active menu indicator should stay stuck to the menu item “Recipes” instead of “Blog” (because it’s a recipe and not a blog post).

With Ismaels code, the breadcrumbs look okay now, but the menu does not work anymore as before. When deselecting the “Blog” page as blog, then no menu indicator is displaying.

I hope this helps and I am really looking forward to hearing from you.

I tried it and it worked, thank you :-). Same with following code that I tried meanwhile also:

But somehow the featured image is kind of blurred when using both ways. Only when I click on the image and the lightbox opens, the image is displaying sharp. Can you help with this issue? Would be awesome.

great, that works :-) ! Thank you so much. Just one last thing or ought I open new thread? For changing the hover color simultaneously, I used this code:

.avia-icon-list li:hover .iconlist_title, .avia-icon-list li:hover .iconlist_icon {
    color: red !important;
}

But that does only work for the icon, not for the title. Can you tell? If it needs new thread, I will start one of course.

when I switch to Enfold parent theme, then it does not display the double post name anymore, but it shows > HOME / SUBCATEGORY / POSTNAME instead. But I need to show > HOME / CATEGORY / SUBCATEGORY / POSTNAME.

thank you for your fast reply. When uploading featured image size, I am not able to specify the size to use. Also, the link is not what I want to achieve. What I would like to achieve is that the images are scaling down within the big preview without cropping. And this is an Enfold issue.

I played around a little and I guess I found the solution regarding displaying BLOG twice: It’s because I have a category named BLOG and when renaming it to e.g. NEWS, then the breadcrumbs are showing HOME / BLOG / NEWS / POSTNAME instead of HOME / BLOG / BLOG / POSTNAME.

Regardless, the code in your link provided is not working for me to remove BLOG in the breadcrumbs in general.

And although I tried the other suggested possible solution as per in your link provided (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/breadcrumbs-for-home-category-postname/#post-214578) and deselecting the blog page in Enfold > Theme settings, the BLOG in breadcrumbs is disabled and it also disables the “jumping” from categories RECIPES and LIFESTYLE to BLOG in the main menu, but now the postname is showing twice instead, for example:
> HOME / POSTNAME / NEWS / CATEGORY / POSTNAME
> HOME / POSTNAME / RECIPES / SUBCATEGORY / POSTNAME
etc.

If I could remove the first POSTNAME after HOME in the breadcrumbs, it would be perfect :-) . Can you please help? Would be great!
