    Thanks for your help Rikard. Sorry for the delay in replying, this is a busy time on the farm.
    Looking to the future, I can see the CSS File Merging and Compression on the Performance Page and it is, as it has been, set to “enable- merge and compress all theme CSS Files” But I am not sure how to “activate the option to delete all old CSS and JS files on the same page.” I tried googling that phrase but couldn’t find anything — does Enfold have some documentation either on the dashboard or on my site that I could read.

    Ismael,

    I deactivated WP Fastest Cache and the caption is showing as it should. My question is why did this only happen on the homepage and not any of the other pages on my website? I had installed the WP Fastest Cache some time ago, but it was only recently that this problem showed up.

    So is there a solution where I can use some sort of plugin to make my website load faster and still have the captions on the homepage? Or do I have to give up the captions and reinstall WP Fastest Cache? I am just a farmer and not a website developer but the website is very important to our business and I would like it to load quickly.
