The post is dated May 2018 and since November 2020 GTmetrix is using Lighthouse and now is more aligned with Google Page Speed Insight.
Anyway all mentioned in the article has been done already.
As you may know Google is mobile first and its web core vitals have an impact in positioning. My website with Enfold is performing very well desktop wise (95%) and around 70% mobile with only one dot green.
If you don’t believe that this icon (frontend, not backend) has an impact just see this speed test.

Thank youSorry, I forgot myself that I unistalled font awesome because it was unused, and this because it was listed together with fontello in Google page speed.
However you did not answer by the possibility to replace fontello with fontawesome in the avia editor, but I guess it is not possibile, unless you implement the avia editor.
Honestly, after a huge amount of work in optimization, and a homepage of 1,46MB, I still cannot achieve a positive score in core web vitals for mobile view, and this because of this font.
Maybe you should consider loading it from a cdn so that you can add <link rel=preload>.

I woul dlike to do the same because the loading of entypo fontello impacts quite a lot on my page speed score.
@Corefocusgroup, have you tried to serve fonts using a cdn and then adding <link rel=preload> ?
If so, did you have an improvement in your page speed score?

I don’t know why is so impacting on loading.
Is the font loaded if icons are not used?
Maybe you can think of integrate also font awesome, so the user can use two different icon sets.
As fair as I know, using other themes, font awesome does not have this kind of impact.Thank you!
Leave it, it is not important. I had a plugin working on the server offered by Cloudways that is called “Bot Protection” and it was sort of “ko”.
That’s why suddenly I started receiving a lot of spam and this did not happen before, without any form protection.
I’m going to make a test disabling reCaptcha because I noticed a worsening in performance, so I will see if the Bot protection alone is doing efficiently its work.

Hello, I found out the problem. I’m using the webtoffee gdpr cookie consent and Google Maps was set to be blocked before consent but even after positive consent was not displaying it.
Later I found out the cookie was not categorized in the “non necessary” cookie category, as It supposed to.

It seems too difficult to debug, I replaced video with Vimeo and seems to work.

In chrome for windows, in which the video works as it should, the log continues in loop.
On other mac browsers the log stops. What you see it is all.
And the video plays and at end stops on related videos or poster image, and no more actions are taken.I read the link you gave but it does not seem to relate to my case.

but it did not help. Maybe check on your side in something changed in IE.

I checked now with a Windows machine and actually it works as you said.

I also updated the theme, and some how now it’s working again! I could save the page without loosing content!!

I carried on doing the same page in English and Russian, for some reasons in those pages the issue did not occur, considering I copied exact content form italian, then I replaced just texts. Very odd.
So I’m going now to do the italian, page from scratch, trying to import the English version.

Anyway, PLEASE, It starts to be very urgent, please try to verify this behavior on the Page “Arte del Restauro”, because I’m stuck, and i cannot go ahead.
Today I see that the default fonts (Montserrat) is ignored, I set it every where, but it just displays helvetica.
Then the single product page is now set to 2/3 instead of full width layout. For example this one
Sometimes it just enough refreshing, or changing language and then going back to same language, to see it again full width, so I don’t know how you are going to see it now.
