I cleared my browser cache and even the W3 cache a few times without any effect.
.. deactivated the plugin and it finally works. Thank you very much!

If it’s a new blog post you can easily create a category “news” and change the permalink (Settings -> permalink) to:
/%category%/%postname%/Please don’t forget to set each post to the “news” category.
