I’m having a similar issue. I’ve installed the Subscribe & Download plugin and non of the shortcodes it generates display in either posts or pages. The default WP contact form short code apepars to work on a page and post, but not this one.
Link and credentials sent along.
Let’s seal it, MIke!
Ok, Rikard. I thought so. I think this is an easier solution for those looking to add code snippets to headers. Thanks!
Hi Rikard,
I updated the theme, but still, the same issues persist. The same links above should apply. What do you think?
March 24, 2018 at 5:07 am in reply to: No Revisions Showing in Portfolio Entry, Pages, or Posts #932216Hi Ismael,
Okay, that’s interesting, because when I check the Dashboard it shows me all my Themes are up to date, so there would be no way for me to have known that Enfold had an update available. Does this theme support automatic updating?
THANKS RIKARD…STILL PROBLEMS
OKAY, in Safari none of the three possible ’embed’ code shows up. Even after clearing Cache.
- In Chrome, the Kriesl shortcode DOES NOT show. So there’s something in the Shortcode that is broken.
- The generic WordPress embed shortcode YES WORKS.
- The YouTube iFrame code YES WORKS.
You can check out the site again, and see if my SHORTCODE is wrong perhaps, or is there something deeper rooted in the Enfold theme.
Plus, WHY won’t any of the three options work in Enfold in Safari?
Does not show in preview
All I’m trying to achieve is to get a youtube video on the page – either to play on the page or in a lightbox. I just want to get the video.
Don’t see a way to add attachment to this post to share screen shot.

A FOLLOW up to this question, I don’t mind the breadcrumbs in the header, but how to I get rid of or change “Blog-latest news” text? Can’t it pick up category or subcategory, for example?
August 4, 2017 at 9:10 pm in reply to: Theme Settings Export/Import Migrated Site—styling still lost after import #834507I’m not sure what that means. Add the important after rules. I simply exported the settings from the “good” install, and imported them to the new hosting site. As you can see from the links I set, the settings didn’t copy over. This relates to text color, background color, and I’m not sure what else. But I have no “rules that aren’t replaced,” that I am aware of. Just trying to get the settings to where they are on the good site.
Those settings were originally made through the Enfold settings in WordPress.
Thanks Yigit! That worked!
Here are the screens hots of the gallery. You can see how it’s displayed here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/vszndvtqf3xnmig/Screen%20Shot%202016-08-12%20at%2010.14.06%20AM.png?dl=0
And here’s how it looks in preview in WP:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/w3fu04vasxd2zso/Screen%20Shot%202016-08-12%20at%2010.14.27%20AM.png?dl=0
No changes I make to the WP Gallery mode are affected when published, yet in preview they do change. To be sure if I change number of columns, this does change but the image (preview) size will not change.
Thanks Josue, that worked!
Thanks Yigit – But it’s still showing at the top.
See actual page link below.
Okay —
I get that, but I’m looking for replicating what the “title” would do on a “POST” as it would do on a “PAGE” ?
Sure, thanks for taking a look.
Hey Josue,
That’s what I have it set at. But the layout puts the small image centered on top. I’d also like to get that thin white rule between each of the posts. Check out the screen shot and check out the actual page

Hey Ismael,
THanks for the code for alternating color, however, I’ve decided to try to get it to look like the attached screen shot.
HERE’S THE LINK TO THE SCREEN SHOT:

1) horizontal rule above post title
2) Tighten space between posts
3) Move thumbnail from center above post title to align left in the post excerpt area
4) read more link to be below the thumbnail image.
5) I’d be okay with expanding the excerpt too, by another 2-4 lines
What do you think? Is that easy enough ????
thanks!

Great idea, Devin.
I did just that and JetPack fired up with no problem:
You’re fueled up and ready to go.
Jetpack is now active. Browse through each Jetpack feature below. Visit the settings page to activate/deactivate features. When I switched back to Enfold Child theme, I didn’t get any other error. So just switching to Twenty Fourteen and back to Enfold seemed to solve that issue.
strange
I stumbled upon this thread after hearing back from Automattic and the support team at JetPack:
While your site is publicly accessible, we cannot access your site’s XML-RPC file:
This file is used by Jetpack and other plugins and apps to connect to your site, and must return the following message:
XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.I’m running WP 3.9.2 — so this is unrelated to WP 3.8 —
I’m running WordPress on several other sites and don’t have a problem with this. Wondering if anyone else has encountered this?
I do have a second WP infall on this domain but in a totally different directory.
