Hi Mike,
In testing, this actually seems to make things worse. The PDF links are now not displaying OR downloading. The screen flashes as if something is happening, but then nothing does. This is both on mobile and desktop.
Do you have any other suggestions?
thanks!
Thanks, Mike. I’ll give that a go. Appreciate your help.
October 25, 2020 at 5:01 pm in reply to: Cannot edit via Advanced Layout Editor (stuck on spinner) #1255513I’m having this same issue. Any other ideas on how to fix this?
Ok. I’ve solved this, I think. So for anyone else looking to do the same…
Create new pages for your categories and customise them in the usual way. Make sure you then add the product list from the plugin options in the advanced layout builder. Link to these new pages in your menus.
For the shop itself, I used the advice here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/woocommerce-shop/ which meant I could use the advanced layout builder, and so far, it seems to be working.
Little bump – I know everyone’s busy and it’s a weekend, but any help, very appreciated!
Link to a category page for reference.
The background should be white, like the other pages, not blue. There is also no padding to the side of the category item?
I may have found a different way of doing the design, but would still like to know how to achieve this.
Also, how do I remove the vertical line between the menu and the social icons?
Hi Victoria,
That’s great. Thanks for your help.
James
Hi Victoria,
Thanks for taking a look. We didn’t actually build this site, but rather inherited it from another company.
I appreciate your time on this, and while it certainly looks a lot better, it’s still not quite right. The three buttons should be stacked vertically on mobile, rather than horizontally, which is how they were before.
Currently, they are horizontal on mobile, which means the buttons are cutting off at the side of the screen. It needs to have the text, then the three buttons stacked vertically underneath, with all of it centralised, right in the middle of the image behind it.
If you could help with the last tweek, it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
I’ve turned off the minify, the caching was already off. Do you have access to the login in the comments?
What I don’t understand is why it is no longer responsive, when it was before and worked perfectly? Why can it not have the functionality it had before?
Anyone? The support is normally excellent for this theme, but this is a bit disappointing.
As per my first post. On mobile, the slider would previously appear central, it now no longer does. Nothing has changed in the code, and it looks like it should still render appropriate to the screen, but it doesn’t.
This means the text and buttons on the slide are not visible on a mobile screen as they’re disappearing off to the right.
Thanks
Anyone?
Image sizing sorted, but still help with the slider on mobile.
Thanks
Hello,
Update completed and the problem still persists. Also, the update appears to have broken the sizing of the logo which I will now try to fix.
Thanks
Login details in the private section :)
Further testing and it’s now showing both sections on mobile and desktop. Any speedy help, very gratefully received!
Hey Rikard,
That looks to have resolved the issue. Thank you.
Can I ask, just so I better my own understanding, what could the issue be, and how is that CSS fixing it?
Thanks again.
Hi there,
Yes, I tried scrolling and although I could, it was just into blank space. The content was being hidden under the boundary of the container.
I have turned the responsive off now, as the client prefers this layout :(
Thank Yigit.
I’ve followed those steps, and indeed, I can now zoom in, however, the content in that troublesome block is still off the side of the screen. You can zoom in to it, but it’s still missing the side.
Is there a way to force it to display the content wholly within the container? this would then work for people to zoom in to.
Thanks :)
Thank you :)
Is there a way to keep the larger gap between the elements, rather than remove it all?
Thanks!
Sorry to stalk you guys, but any help available?
Thanks :)
Thanks for the reply Yigit, it’s really appreciated.
I’ve tried the code, and although it works, the spacing between the elements horizontally is not even. The middle two are much closer than they are to the outer two?

Thanks
Link to screen grab in the private comments.
It shows the desktop version and the mobile version. Essentially, for the mobile version, I would like there to be 2 rows of 4 columns.
Thanks :)
Sorry to chase, trying to get this sorted :)
Anyone?
Were you able to look at the link? :)
Thanks Andy, but wha about the other elements in my post?
That works, but with different sized images, I want a way for it to show the featured image, but constrain the ratio. So, can I say, limit the longest side to display at 800px X whatever that makes the other side?
Can I move those left and right arrows inwards so they are within the post page, rather than the whole site?
Thanks :)
Anyone?
