Thanks again, and for all your help. The site goes live today.
Yigit, you are the man…
Any chance you can help with this open question?
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/layout-issue-3/
CheersHi again
That didn’t work with either of the two methods.
Thanks Peter – Worked a treat
Can you help me with another layout request?
Im trying to put a coloured section or background colour on the same page: http://103.226.222.34/~elderkni/articles/
Ive been unable to add a coloured section into the 1/4 column on the right
I want grey box (#efeeee) from the top of the right sidebar down to just above the tweet widget.
I would prefer if the box had a 1px border as well.Hope you can help.
Thanks Again
Thanks Yigit
Thanks again
Much appreciatedThanks Yigit.
Not exactly what I was after but I do like the change. Although it only seems to work on the icons that have a link and not others such as the ones on: http://103.226.222.34/~elderkni/contact/
I was initially after a colour change to the bullet points and numbers within the “unordered list”
- & the “ordered list”
-
Is it possible? This page has both list types: http://103.226.222.34/~elderkni/speaker-2/
cheers
Hi again
I would also like to try and get the heading “Latest Articles” to be exactly the same size and style as the titles in the “Icon Boxes”
http://103.226.222.34/~elderkni/
Thanks
Thanks again
Can you tell me how to adjust the spacing for my “Fullwidth Separator” on my homepage? The one just below my “Icon Boxes”
http://103.226.222.34/~elderkni/Cheers
Love it… heres another one.
I want to move the “nav circles” to the left of my homepage slider…
Any more css tricks?http://103.226.222.34/~elderkni/
Arran
Once again – you rock.
Is it ok to ask more questions while your there?
How do I remove the vertical line which separates the sidebar, from my “Blog Page”Thanks again
Perfect – Thanks for the quick reply, wherever you may be.
Also:
Is there a way to change the space around the “Promo Box” using css?
I would just like to reduce the space above the box? Thanks again
Hi Yigit
Thanks for the info.
I’m not sure of my “specific post type” After adding the code to functions.php (at the end of the document) Ive determined my type is not “Portfolio”
If it’s easier, without the need to edit the php, I would be happy to just hide the thumbnail image.
Thanks again
Perfect… Thanks again
Great stuff… Thanks again
Thanks Yigit
The worked, but only on the body text and the nav. How do I target the H tags?
Thanks again
No luck with that addition, any other suggestion?
cheers
Hi again
So I think I may of just resolved the issues..
I changed the “Media Settings” – Thumbnail size option from 80 x 80 to my desired size 142 x 231
I then regenerated the thumbnails using the plugin.
And added this to the quick.css
.avia-testimonial-image, .avia-testimonial-image img { width: 142px; height: 231px; }I hope this option is OK, what do you reckon?
Better then the $1200USD i was just quoted from India, to fix this and a couple other issues
yee haa
Hi Peter
Thanks for the reply.
I’ll try the plugin shortly. I thought there may be a find and replace option somewhere – great tip.Im using the default blog style, and the quick css worked. You guys rock.
Im still struggling with another issue though… could you shed some light on this? More eyes the better.
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/testimonials-image-size-and-layout/Thanks in advance
ArranHi again Gunter
Sorry to keep questioning you on this.
I have put this in line 103 of functions.php
$avia_config[‘imgSize’][‘your_selected_size’] = array(‘width’=>142, ‘height’=>231 ); // images for testimonialsDo I also have to put this…
function my_avatar_size($size, $src, $class)
{
return ‘your selected size’;
}
add_filter(‘avf_testimonials_avatar_size’, ‘my_avatar_size’, 10, 3)
in the same file and anywhere in particular?Ive also installed the plugin you recommended. Hopefully I can sort this one.
Really do appreciate your help.
Can you recommend any developers I can pay for these types of fixes in the future.
ArranHi Gunter.
Thanks for the reply, you will have to excuse my ignorance on this one, I don’t have a great understanding of php.
I understand that the layout change isn’t supported, so I’ll have to work around this. The testimonial image size I wish to display is 142×231. Could you explain again how I can achieve this?
How do I register my own image size? Do I have to choose a predefined size from within functions.php? Thanks again
Perfect, thanks a lot.
