    Hi Rikard,
Yesterday the error logs still showed at directadmin. Now that you asked I tried to fetch and there is no single error line to be seen. FYI, band width and disk space are within range. I deactivated and deleted Yoast and did a complete fresh reinstall Yoast. Problem remains. I will reach out to Yoast as well, but please see if there’s anything you can do on Enfold’s theme end.
    Thanks and regards, Maarten

    Dear Rikard,
I didn’t expect that. Makes it more difficult..
I gladly followed your advice and logged in with the login details I sent you and used a different browser (Chrome instead of Firefox). Now indeed I can save a new test page and save changes when changing something in the Enfold CSS field. However, back to the initial problem: If I want to index the site and run the Yoast SEO configuration wizard, I get the error message “The configuration wizard could not be started. The likely cause is an interfering plugin. Please check for plugin conflicts to solve this problem.” This is also the case using another browser. Again if I use a WordPress standard theme, all runs smooth without any problems whatsoever. So the problems are there when having Enfold (Child) active.
Now, even when just opening the site, nothing displays other than a message that a CRITICAL ERROR HAS OCCURRED. Would appreciate your soonest help. Thanks in advance.
    Best regards, Maarten

    Hi Rikard,

Because of the conflicts, we temporarily deactivated Yoast. Just now I activated Yoast SEO again, so you can see the problems.
As a start you may want to change something in the CSS of our enfold child theme layout and try to save it…

    best regards, Maarten

    Dear Rikard,
Apologies, should work now. Same details apply.

    Dear Rikard,

I deactived all cache and compression related plugins one-by-one, but this did not make any difference.
When I disabled polylang, things were messed up, but when getting access to the Dutch page it showed the images.
So the glitch may well be related to enfold editor in connection to polylang translate plugin by the looks of it.
This wasn’t the case a few months ago, so may have got something to do with an update of one or the other…

    regards, Maarten

Hi Rikard, see private content area for details. BR, Maarten

Cheers for your response Mike. Just to share the solution I accidentally found:
On the woocommerce product pages the “product hover” option had to be set to “Hover effect on Overview Pages, Do you want to display a hover effect on overview pages and replace the default thumbnail with the first image of the gallery?” > NO HOVER EFFECT.
I had the option “Yes – show first gallery image on hover”, which caused the problems. Actually this should not be causing problems and did not cause problems in the past. After all hover is only hover, not permanent… Either through woocommerce oe Enfold update this may have been causing the hover problem. Now, after changing each and every product page to “no hover effect”, the actual product image is showing and not the first gallery image.
