Hi Rikard,
I think you’ve looked at it a bit too quickly. As mentioned, in addition to the logo that disappears when we activate the child theme, the topbar also disappears, an unwanted sidebar appears on the homepage, the French homepage disappears, etc…

Hi Rikard,
I’ve followed your instructions, but the result is the same. If I activate the child theme, my logo disappears, the topbar disappears, an unwanted sidebar appears on the homepage, the French homepage disappears, etc…

Thanks Jordan but I’m afraid this doesn’t really help. I’m trying to add wpml (not woocommerce) currency switcher in the secondary (not main) menu.

Hi Ismael,

z-index worked perfectly, thanks again.

Regarding the french version, I’ve copied the CSS. But the text is still not displayed in the french version with Microsoft Edge. With Chrome, I get this admin notice:
“This element was disabled in your theme settings. You can activate it here:
Performance Settings”.

The only think is that we can no longer click on the language switcher (although it’s still visible in the top bar).

Hi Ismael,
No, the arrow is not displayed correctly on Firefox either (it displays a square with little signs in it).
I’ve tried to add your code at the end of the .htaccess file, but it produced an error (the website became unaccessible).
Any solution please ?

Hi Ismael,
Thanks, but the result isn’t right :
– on Explorer : still no arrow
– on Chrome : no arrow + an extra horizontal switcher (just flags)
– on mobile : no arrow but a sort of round instead

Hi Ismael,
I’ve enable the switcher through WPML settings (WPML > Languages > Menu language switcher).
I’ve tried your snippet. It messes up the language switcher and doesn’t add the arrow.

I’ve removed the code I put in functions.php and it now works, thanks !

Another quick question if you don’t mind. I’ve added WPML’s switcher. It’s a dropdown list, but the dropdown arrow doesn’t show. WPML’s support said it doesn’t come from them but from the theme. I’ve switched to Twenty Seventeen theme and the arrow appears with no problem. So it definetly comes from Enfold. Any idea why ? Could it be an incompatibility with the font ?

Hi,
Just an update : the problem seemed to come from Elementor. I’ve deactivated it and now only use the Enfold page builder, and it works. Annoying…
