I’m still working on this and with a new installation i get

if anyone reading this has this problem, i think it was a problem caused by a plugin. i did delete the theme via FTP – nothing was messed up so don’t be afraid to do this. i was terrified of losing months of work but its fine-all the work is saved in the database so you will be fine switching or deleting themes. just check each plugin – deactivate them all and then activate them one by one once you have deleted/reinstalled the theme via FTP until you find the bug. the plug that was messing up my media library was a simple one to add advertising to my site in a sidebar. I downloaded that on the same day i downloaded woocommerce, so assumed woocommerce was the problem because its a complicated plugin. However, it was just a different plugin, so deactivate all of the plugins and test them one by one before you need to delete and upload the theme via FTP. hope this helps!!
Just an update, i completely deleted the enfold theme via ftp and uploaded a new copy and i still cant access the media library.
Any word on this problem? I have exactly the same issue, so i can no longer upload images to posts or projects, which makes my site frozen basically since i cant upload or access the media library. I see it in list view, but when im uploading to a post or project i dont receive the list option so i cant add anything.

Hi,
Switching the theme did not work for me. I’m afraid of losing months of work creating my website if i delete Enfold from FTP and reinstall it. I also have Eunoia installed, but the same problem occurs with the inability to access the media library and the “error message: try later” when i try to upload anything to the library. I switched to Eunoia to see if it happened with that theme as well, and it did.
is that useful information for troubleshooting my problem. it would sort of be a disaster if i have to rebuild my site from scratch because the kresi themes have an error.
can you please advise of what i should do to proceed. of course if rebuilding is the only way, ill have to do that since i can not have a broken website…

Laurai am also having this problem! i can not see previews of the images in my media library. i thought it was a conflict with woocommerce, which i recently installed, but i deleted it completely and still having this problem. its been 2 days and i can not work on my site.
when i go directly to the media library, i can view items in list form, but not in the square image form … which i dont really care about. but the main problem is that if im creating a blog post, for example, and i go to add media, i get no options. because i can not choose the list form. i tried adding something by URL, and that did not work either.

It’s weird, the three plugins had already been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.
and when i upload the theme again it fails because:
“Destination folder already exists. /home2/yogahigh/public_html/melrusso/wp-content/themes/enfold/”

I’ve created a sidebar accordion menu with a plugin as my main navigation, but i can’t – for the life of me! – figure out how to get rid of the default main menu. you can see here that both are visible – both the menu and the widget where the plugin is. I’m trying to replace the top one with the one below it. it must be a setting somewhere?

hi! 2 questions:
1. is there a way to remove the pin/save that is visible on the hover of all my projects? i only see it when viewing in firefox, so is this just a browser issue, or is there some code i can put in to block the red pin hover?
2. ive disabled the overlay throughout my site because i like the hover /overlay on the projects – i just cant have the hover on all images WITHIN my projects – so the only fix i can see is to disable it completely. Is there a way to have hover on my main project page (see web link) but disable it on the images within the projects?

I’m having this exact problem with the gray box and pencil on all of my posts, taking up the left space on the post and narrowing the content. I’ve looked through the threads and i’ve tried the custom code to make them invisible, but it still makes empty space on the left.This thread said it was resolved setting “no sidebar” but i tried every option and no change. i have a permanent right sidebar, but tried all the other options and still there is empty space on the left of my post.
another person in support said that it was fixed in Enfold>blog styling … but they all leave this gray box and pencil. can you please help? heres a link to my post below. THANKS!!!!!!
