Hi
The linked video does not work in my Firefox browser but works fine in the MS Internet Exporer.
Tried to change some settings in Firefox so far without success. Anyway, it seems to be a Firefox issue rather then an issue of Enfold theme…
Cheers and ThanksNovember 6, 2015 at 12:08 pm in reply to: Enfold Theme- Theme options not showing in the dashboard #531409Hi!
I have not performed any changes but have now realized that all of the described difficulties are browser specific and pop up in Firefox whereas in the MS Internet Explorer everything seems to be working smoothly. I then performed a Firefox update and now Enfold Theme Options work again although Firefox still does not play the background videos. I assume there should not be any issues with the Theme but rather with Firefox or its settings. If you have any suggestions anyway, they would of course be highly appreciated. Thank you! I will then disable again the temporary admin login.November 6, 2015 at 10:09 am in reply to: Enfold Theme- Theme options not showing in the dashboard #531376Hi Rikard!
Thank you for your response. Please see the details below.
Enfold was installed by me already some time ago with only some modification of dummy data. Now I wanted to ramp up the page and suddenly encountered the difficulties described in my last post. Hope you’ll find a solution and thanks in advance!November 5, 2015 at 12:29 pm in reply to: Enfold Theme- Theme options not showing in the dashboard #530724Hi there! Since some days I am – like Geoffdoyle- -unable to view all theme options and/or change any options. Also the demo video background is not working any more. What I did so far (after updating to 3.4 and using the fix suggested today in another thread after my website crashed completely after update to 3.4):
1. deactivate / reactivate Plugins
2. Try solution as offered by Günter above, inserting “define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ );” at the suggested position.
Any clues? I have not yet inserted the code “define(‘SCRIPT_DEBUG’, true);” as suggested above since it was not clear to me where exactly the such code shall be inserted. Help would be appreciated!
CheersHi borkent!
Thank you for this quick and dirty fix which also worked for me. I hope a definitive solution will come soon!
CheersHi there!
I cannont offer any solution but I have the same or at least a similar problem. Several theme options did not work any more and then I noted a new version of Enfold was available. I tried to update via WordPress, then my site disappeared and no login was possible any more.
I tried the solution to download a fresh copy of the theme and overwrite it via FTP on the server as described here
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/after-upgrade-links-to-css-and-uploads-broken/
but was * * * not * * * successfull with this approach. My site seems to be gone and I hope there might be another solution than an overall new installation. So I join your question: Anybody?Hi Ismael
Thank you for your swift response. As indicated by you, I used the autoinstaller software as offered by my provider (which I have never done before since only WP version 3.2 is offered and only in German instead of English). After the updated to WP 3.9 I installed Enfold via FTP and tried to import the dummy data – this time with success! So thank you for your advice which worked for me.
However, you might take into consideration to advise customers to use an auto installer right in the tutorial in order to avoid too many questions here in this forum. I would also be curious to learn why the import of dummy data did not work when installing WP the classical way by FTP upload…
Regards
