It’s all good in the hood! Thanks Mike, I appreciate the help! So does this mean for future updates the Dashboard>Enfold>Theme Update will now work?
Hi Mike, I have no idea why the theme folder would be named that, when I checked through Filezilla it was just named Enfold. The Instagram widget is working now, although the Menu is now out of order (It should be Home Shop About Contact) and the footer is messed up (it used to have a link to a youtube video, and article and sign up for a mailchimp mailing list, all of that is now gone). I also had to add the Facebook widget back, as that one had disappeared also.
Do you know what happened? Was it just from the update? Not sure how to fix the footer and menu.
Thanks Mike, I had the webhost update to PHP 7.2. Will you try again and let me know?
Yes the site is backed up. Mike the moderator offered to help last week but he never got to it, thanks Rikard! Hopefully this update fixes the Instagram Widget problem. In the future, will the updates be available through the dashboard?

A valid URL was not pro #1074523At first I downloaded the plug in and then tried to upload the zip file but I got an error saying the file was too big. Then I tried to ftp the Enfold folder with Filezilla. I followed these directions from the moderator Mike and it didn’t work.
Hi,
To manually update the theme via FTP, look for the “enfold” folder at /wp-content/themes/enfold/ and rename to “enfold-old” then upload the new version as the folder “enfold”
Please don’t try to overwrite the theme folder, as this will leave old files behind and cause errors.
Once you have cleared your browser cache and tested that your site is working correctly, you can delete the old folder “enfold-old”.
If for some reason you want to go back to the old version, simply remove the new folder and change the name of “enfold-old” back to “enfold”
If you would like help with this, Please open a new thread, and include your admin login and ftp login in the Private Content area, but as this is not your thread your login info will not be private if posted here.
Please post the link to your new thread here so I can quickly find it.Best regards,
MikeAfter I uploaded the new Enfold folder, the site wouldn’t work with the following error: This page isn’t working truetilldeathmerch.com is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500Also, when I downloaded the installable wordpress files only from Themeforest, they were listed as 4519990, not 4.5. Could this be the problem? Someone please help!

Both worked! Thanks so much Mike!
In my browser? I did that and they still are blurry. Are you talking about clearing cache somewhere else? How would I do it?
Did you view it on a phone or computer? From my laptop the thumbnail images are very blurry and it’s very noticeable. Can anyone help me fix this?
Once again, I’m not using WooCommerce, it’s a Gallery media element.
John Torvik? Anyone?
BTW, all my 3 original images are 870×1110 and I have my Gallery settings as follows:
Big Image with Thumbnails below
No Scaling
No, Do Not Force Same Size
Thumbnail (80×80)
3
Yes
Show the animationSorry the page was offline for a bit, if you tried to view it and couldn’t see it it’s back up now, thanks!
John, I’m not using WooCommerce so I’m not sure if that page is relevant to my problem. I’m using the Gallery media element within Enfold.
Also, can I download the new version from Envato, then go to Appearance > Themes > Add New and upload the zip file from there or do I have to go through Filezilla and ftp it? I’m not understanding why the Enfold theme is so hard to update, usually the theme will show up in the Dashboard’s Updates and then you can update with one click. Is anyone else having the same problem?
Ok, just got back from visiting my mom, I’ll try it on the other pages as well, thanks.
It looks good on a computer, but when viewing it on a mobile device, the slider image gets really cut off on the sides. I’d imagine that a good majority of my audience will be looking at the site on their phone or tablet. Is there any way to set it so the slider shrinks down to the size of the iPhone screen so it displays the whole image instead of cutting off?
Sure, here it is, thanks!
Ok, here are the screenshots, I made a page for them. The first screenshot is how the header displays correctly on a computer. The second one is how it displays on an iPhone, with the header image not showing up. The third is the same page on an iphone, just scrolled down a bit to show that the pic doesn’t show up even at the bottom where the page actually starts. The 4th screenshot is when I hold my iPhone sideways, in landscape as opposed to portrait, and the header pic shows up but covered by the menu with the transparent and glassy header not working. The shrinking menu doesn’t work either on scroll on the iphone.
I was just checking it again on my iphone and I noticed if I turn the phone sideways to landscape, the header pictures will come in halfway but are covered by the menu. When I scroll with the phone sideways, the menu doesn’t get smaller like it does on the computer. Could this be part of the problem? Does the glassy header thing with the shrinking menu not work on mobile devices?
When the phone is not sideways but in portrait, I still don’t see the header images at all.
May 5, 2017 at 4:24 am in reply to: Woocommerce – My product pages are messed up, please help! #788170Hey thanks everyone, I updated to the latest version of Enfold via FTP and it fixed the problem with the thumbnails not showing up on the Single Product pages. I didn’t do the patch with the child theme as recommended by mensmaximus, should I still do that? What does it do exactly?
On a side note, I tried adding the cart, facebook and instragram to Single Products Pages sidebar in Widgets, but it still doesn’t show up as a sidebar on the actual pages, they just come in underneath the product pictures. No biggie though, I just won’t have a sidebar.
Is there any way to have a header image on the Single Products pages like I have on my other pages, or is that not available since the Advanced Layout Builder is not usable with Woocommerce?
Thanks for your help.
Hi Rikard, I just checked the site on my iPhone and my girlfriend’s iPhone and the same problem seems to be happening. Everything looks great except the header photos (the large blue tint ones across the top of the page when you view on a computer) aren’t showing up on mobile devices. The home page is fine with the slider, but the top header static mages on the Shop, About and Contact pages aren’t showing up.

Once again Victoria, the site seems to be working for everyone else, maybe troubleshoot a bit on your end, thanks!
April 29, 2017 at 2:12 am in reply to: Woocommerce – My product pages are messed up, please help! #784883Andy, I really appreciate the response. Got it on 1, thanks. For 2, will that plug in install the latest version of Enfold for me? I read the plug in description and couldn’t make heads or tails out of it. You’ll have to excuse me, I’m a layperson when it comes to this stuff, if you could walk me through how to get the latest version (4.0.5.) that would help big time. 3, I checked and yes it is the latest version. 4, will do!
April 22, 2017 at 12:48 am in reply to: Woocommerce – My product pages are messed up, please help! #781490Thanks so much mensmaximus! Just to clarify a few things…
1. I watched Ferdy’s Enfold Woocommerce tutorial on YouTube and he points out that you can have a sidebar using the Single Product Pages widget. Is this an option or should it not be used?
2. I am running Enfold Version: 4.0.3. In my backend dashboard it’s telling me that my theme is up to date, but I did some research and it looks like there is a version 4.0.5. Is this correct? When I go to my Enfold Theme settings and to Theme update, it’s telling me No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.0.3). How would I update to the latest version then?
3. My woocommerce is Version 3.0.4. It’s my understanding this is the latest version, and my plug in section is not asking me to update. Is this correct?
4. Just to be clear, your patch is to download the enfold-child.zip, open the functions.php file and add your code snippet (Woocommerce 3.0.0 Compatibility Fix), save it, and then upload it as a new theme. This will wipe out my work, but if I go to the Enfold theme options to Import/Export and click the Import Parent Theme Settings, all my work will come back and everything should be fixed. Correct? Thanks for your time, much appreciated!

April 20, 2017 at 7:25 pm in reply to: Woocommerce – My product pages are messed up, please help! #780712Hi Victoria, you’ve written this to me before on other threads. I’m really not sure what could be wrong, I’m not expert on this stuff. I had other people check on their computers and phones and all of them were able to view the site. Are you sure you have the address right?
April 19, 2017 at 9:04 pm in reply to: Woocommerce – My product pages are messed up, please help! #780143Any help on this? My deadline is coming up quickly and I’m at a complete loss! Thanks.
April 19, 2017 at 3:18 am in reply to: Woocommerce – My product pages are messed up, please help! #779746Ok, by massive trial and error that took me hours, I figured out the sidebar problem. In my widgets section I had my Instagram and Facebook widgets in Display Everywhere. I moved them to sidebar pages and it seemed to work. Although I don’t really understand why the sidebar wouldn’t display properly anyway. Can you not have a sidebar on the Woocommerce product pages?
The bigger problem still stands. For the life of me I can’t figure out why the gallery images aren’t appearing as thumbnails on the product pages. This is getting really frustrating, I’ve watched that youtube tutorial like 5 times now trying to figure it out. Any help is greatly appreciated.
