Yes, I have the latest version but I don’t have the standard message that WordPress or your theme is up to date and I don’t want to have to update each one via ftp everytime. I should have something that reads as such: https://cl.ly/3t1b0O0q2N1S

I unpacked the full version and unpacked enfold folder to upload and after taking a second look, there is a duplicate of the enfold folder inside the enfold folder. It was taking so long to upload and that was the reason why so I deleted that folder. Are you aware that their is a duplicate of all the files?

Updating WordPress and the theme didn’t resolve the original issue I was having. What next?

I don’t know where the files go. What about installing WP from the hosting providers site?

I want to take care of this today so I appreciate your timely response back. Am i creating a database as WordPress instructs or do i skip that since I already have a database for the site?

Yes, I’m referring to theme updates as well as WordPress updates. I cannot update either one. If you go to the website and view source code, it reads:

    ML:128-PU:79-PLA:14
    WP:4.6.1
    Updates: disabled

I contacted Godaddy and asked about the cron-jobs and so forth and they said it is the theme causing the problem. In another thread somebody else was having the same problem and when they re-downloaded the theme from FTP, it didn’t resolve their problem. It looks like it wasn’t resolved. If I try to download and install from FTP, won’t it be the newest version and will that be compatible with my current version of WP which is 4.6.1? I need to be absolutely sure because I don’t want to get fired for messing up my company’s website. The video for downloading is very old and says to open the version file which I did but haven’t gone any further yet. I can’t read it because all the text runs together in one big paragraph!

Downloaded plugin and nothing happened. This is serious because my WordPress is becoming outdated that some of the plugins are not compatible with my version of WordPress! What next?
