Thanks to both. I would actually like to build a full page with video background and logon screen.
Something like the Enfold Restaurant one: https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-restaurant-one-page.

And once logged-on, arriving to a different template that I am current using (sidebar on the left).

Hi.- thanks but this didn’t help unfortunately. Controls are still being displayed.

[EDIT]: Just found out that replacing wp-video by avia-video in your css code indeed suppressed the toolbar.
Is there any way to prevent stopping the video by clicking on it ? Thanks

Hi Victoria,

I found out in the advanced styling that I could put separator colours to white, which is an acceptable workaround for me. Thanks.
