September 17, 2020 at 7:35 am in reply to: Sitemap.xml showing /theme-backup-enfold-4-5-7/ – WHERE is this page? #1246445Tx – bizarrely I couldnt find it in cpanel. But found Dashboard>media and deleted.
Thank you :-)I deleted the V3 recaptcha at Google and created a brand new one.
Installed into Contact Form 7 integration.
Form STILL will not send on mobile AT ALL.
Plus I’ve noticed you have to click the “Send” button TWICE to get it to work. Once seems to click out of the form…. then 2nd to actually send it.
Please help.- This reply was modified 5 years, 7 months ago by FionaH.
1. I’m 100% certain the recaptcha is V3. I have redone them several times already.
2. yes, it is bizarre, but it never seems to happen on another website with Enfold, same page design and contact form 7. So its something unique to this website…I dont understand the data in the private field sorry. But Enfold is blocking the ‘colour coding’ of the error message when it happens so I cant even tell what the issue is.
So what now?
Hello? Can I get some help please. I have a valid support licence and the issue directly relates to the theme.
regards
FionaJust following up this issue.
The whole form is NOT working again (even tho it worked once, two days ago).
Please help!On the Contact Us page – “send us an email” form.
update: I discovered that enfold had not updated from 4.4.1 I have finally managed to update it to 4.5.5 via cpanel.
Now, desktop use is working but mobile is NOT.ie. It sends the form ok on desktop (windows) but fails (error) on mobile (android & iphone).
ThanksFYI: this is complete
Thank you – that helped the footer but NOT the sidebar widget.
more help?November 1, 2018 at 9:52 am in reply to: Remove space under menus / above Full Width Slider ("Construction" demo) #1028780Cool close topic – is there something I should tick to indicate this?
October 31, 2018 at 2:04 am in reply to: Remove space under menus / above Full Width Slider ("Construction" demo) #1028326Fantastic, Thank you.
THANKS! once I removed the (excess) CSS from trying to put a widget on the RHS of the menu it worked perfectly. (Something in that CSS obviously conflicted, but I dont need it any more so better to delete it.)
Regards
FionaHi Rikard – sorry I dont understand your question.
I’m talking about the standard ‘top bar’ in Enfold. You find it at Enfold/Header/Extra Elements/Header Social Icons and Header Phone Number/Extra info. These have an option that says “Display in Top Bar at right” (or left etc)…
I just want it to ONLY display on mobile. Thanks
FionaI agree it is an issue with the Enfold Catcha. I’ve replaced the contact form with a Contact Form 7 + reCaptcha. No spam for an hour now! yay. I’ll monitor it for a few days and report. My other sites/clients are not having an issue and they are on other themes with ContactForm7. So feeling from the many threads going back 2yrs (with no solutions posted) that this is an Enfold captcha/security issue. IMHO.
My client is getting 10-100s of these also through the Enfold captcha form. The ‘thread’ link above does not ‘link’. I’ll manually search but it would better if a live link were added.
Yes, it is amazing the changes I can make with css on Enfold. There is a great repository of info in these support questions.
And I really appreciate the fast and helpful responses from your team.
Yep, you can close this thread.
:-)AWESOME. Thank you.
Hi Nikko,
I simply upped the max-width to over 780px and then this css applies on tablet too. So now I know how to control it, I’m fine, thank you.
Whilst it would be much better if it flowed under the logo, I can live with it above and may even disable it on mobile and enable a small button at the top of the text section for mobile instead. ho hum.
kind regards
FionaHi Yigit,
thanks for this – it works great on mobile phone (the widget is above the Logo but thats ok with me.
BUT on tablet, still a problem. I’m guessing a I need to increase the max-width figure… or is that decrease it?Great, thanks Mike.
How do you change the colour of the diamond? I tried addingcolor: #498ad8!important;
but it made no difference…Ah, is that what the code is for…thats nice too, but not what I was asking for.
The code I’m am looking for puts a little triangle on the blue bar menu indicator which in your image is under “Home”.
So instead of a straight line under the current page, you get a straight line with a pointer/triangle in the middle of the line pointing up at the menu/word.
Clear as mud?
I’ll try and find a site with it… I’ve seen them, but dont remember which ones…
regards
Fionaok tx.
Thanks, I cut & pasted that code directly from the post linked.
I’ve now tried your revised code, but that code has not worked either.domain
Hi,
I’ve checked the code – no ‘conversion’ happening, but it is not showing.
Admin login created and posted in Private.
thanks,
FionaChecked out the post you suggest which said to put this code in the CSS.
.menu li > a:after { content: ‘ ▾’; }
.menu li > a:only-child:after { content: ”; }I tried BOTH places (Enfold General Styling) and Appearance/Customize/CSS but neither place made any change to the active indicator.
Is this perhaps because we have already added code to make it appear? And this code needs to be nested with the appearance code?Hi Mike,
Yes, how do we ‘close’ this?
(Or can I ask one last thing… some ‘active menu indicator’s have a little ‘triangle’ in the centre like a pointer… is that easy to do? I like those.
Cheerio, FHi,
I have tried this solution for a CTA Button.
It is fine on desktop, but on mobile the widget does NOT move below the logo but continues to share the line, overlapping the logo. How do I get the header widget to behave properly responsive, and go below the logo but above the menu? (I have the menu below the logo, floated right, FYI).
tx Fiona
OH, thats so good.
Thank you. :-)

FionaHi Mike,
No, it did not work for me in the “General Styling > Quick CSS field”
I then tried the “Custom CSS” field under Appearance/Customise of WordPress and that appears to have worked.
