Hi Victoria! Thankyou, thankyou very much! Thanks also to Ismael of course, now is perfect!
You have been of great help to me, I hope you can have great satisfaction from your work.Thankyou Ismael,
no, I don’t use avf, the custom field comes from another plugin (Modern Event Calendar). Could you explain to me where to insert the code you wrote? In magazine.php, directly in “Enfold (Child)” – > “General Style” -> “Rapid CSS” or elsewhere? (I’m a novice)
Ranierioh .. now it works … better, [life was like a box of chocolates. you never know what you’re gonna get] I haven’t done much but I think it’s because of the selection of posts. I managed to show a date taken from a custom field but the selection of the posts probably still takes place through the creation date.
I wish they were sorted by date (the date taken from the custom field) does anyone know how to do it?Nobody wants to help me? I’m not bad they just drawn me that way…
Can someone help me? Please?
This reply has been marked as private.Hi Rikard,
thanyou very much, i just edited one of the magazine elements on the home page, the one inside the “Scheda6: Famiglie” tab
This element now shows only two articles in the frontend (and it’s wrong, should be 10), but if you try to look at the preview it displays when editing the page then it is correct there.
In practice it seems that in the frontend does not display all the articles selected with the tag.
I hope to be able to explain myself, my english is “Googled”
Thankyou!Hi Mike,
thanks for the answer, it is possible that it does not work for me because I chose to display the posts in the element by tag and not by category. unfortunately I can’t do otherwise,i need the data structure just as I created it: I have to manage two calendars (with a single plugin), the categories are useful to select and separate the posts but in the magazine I have to bring everything together and I can do it with tags.
However I opened a new thread ( https://kriesi.at/support/topic/show-event-dates-instead-of-creation-dates-in-the-magazine-element/ ) and managed to find a solution… with some changes in the magazine.php file.
Thankyou very much and sorry for my “Googletranslated” english.
Best regards,

I only replaced m instead of F because the site is not in English but that’s okay
Thankyou very much!

I read many of your posts, thank you very much for the reply.
I need the format dd / mm / yyyy or even better dd / (full name of month) / yyyy.
Unfortunately I cannot handle the function well and I have not been able to do it.
If you can help me I would be grateful. Thank you
Best regards,
Ranieri (labuonastrada)May 7, 2020 at 5:59 am in reply to: Show event dates instead of creation dates in the magazine element #1210601SOLVED! I was amazed by myself, I managed to fix the problem ( really: i’m a beginner ), I followed the solution described by Yigit in #post-768071 (Topic https://kriesi.at/support/topic/events-date-in-magazine-element-not-creation-date/ ) but the change to the magazine.php file is as follows:
LINE 1228 $output .= “<time class=’av-magazine-time updated’ {$markupTime}>”.get_post_meta( $entry->ID, ‘mec_start_date’, true ).”</time>”;
Now I just have to adjust the date formatHello! First: thankyou, thankyou so much, Enfold is great!
Second: sorry for my “scrappy translate” english, i think in Italian and i hope to be able to explain myself: i have exactly the same problem exposed at the beginning of the thread, but i currently using Enfold 4.7.4 (child) and the plugin is Modern Event Calendar. Is it possible to show the event start date instead of the creation date in Magazine element?
Thanks, hope you are safe and healty
