Yes I did. And am sorry for that. But the artists made a complain because the presentation on the horizontal gallery was not good. It worked fine for desktop screens and also on ipad screens. But on mobile phones only Firefox was able to correctly show the picture. On Safari and Chrome most pictures were only half viewable because of differtent aspect ratio. I’m now on holliday’s with crappy Internet so it will have to wait a few day’s
Oké, so that’s a bit of a problem for me. Because the pictures of our artists are not all the same height. The strange thing is that my favorite browser (Firefox) does not have any problem. It’s just a problem with Chrome en Safari (webkit?) browsers. I work with Linux so I don’t know about IE of Edge btw
Yes I have used your code in the child theme’s style.css. I get more space above the pictures with Firefox (and firefox did not have a problem on mobile devices). And there was no difference for Chrome. Si I have removed the code.

It looks beautiful on almost every kind of screen, except on small mobile phone screens.

It works but it needs some attention from my part. If I use the same picture as I have used in the portfolio then that picture does not trigger the lightbox in the portfolio. So the solution should be to create an extra image just to use in the horizontal gallery. I hope to publish around 300 portfolio’s for our artists, so it means 300 additional images on my server. But at the end its a price I’m willing to pay because I really love the way the horizontal gallery unlocks the underlying gallery’s. But If you find a better solution…man…that would be great. ;-)
