Thank you for the prompt reply!
You are right. I just observed that the popup was coming just before loading the Layer Slider so I suspected this.
I found the issue and solved it. Now I doubt if it will happen again in the future.
I have an image as a “Custom Background Image” at Enfold –> General Styling section.
Then, the enfold.css file located at wp-content\uploads\dynamic_avia was directly refering to the image at the test2.mydomain.com, which of course was password protected and therefore asking for password….
I guess this will happen every time I pass the page from one place to the other, no?
Thank you!!

It works! Sorry!!!

Hello!!!
Thanks for the reply!
I think I am still a little bit confused, lets take it totaly practical:
I have a page where I have placed twp 1/2 containers one next to the other. Inside the left one, O placed an Easy Slider and I chose 495×400 for the images that loads into the slideshow. But when I make a screenshot of the web, I can see that the width is 427px, instead of 495. Then I suppose that there has been a resize. Here is how it looks like:

I have painted the squares of the containers and some other things just for showing what I mean.
1st question: This 427px comes out because of my native resolution 13666×768? What is exactly the 495×400 in the enfold theme for, then?
As I don´t know the answer with security, I suppose that yes.
2nd question: If my native resolution was 1920 × 1080, which would be the size instead of 427px?
I guess that as a web is always seen in different screen resolutions, resizing cannot be avoided. I just suppose that rescaling down is better, so I wonder how I have to do it to asure this.
Thank you for your help !!!
Thank you!! It works!!
But now, when I put 25% to the elements below them, they keep having the original behaviour. Every 2 of them there is a new line. I tried applying the same idea with them but it does not work.
This reply has been marked as private.Hello! Do you just need a link to the web or to the server too?
Cheers!
Nope…does not work…:-(
Hello!
Unfortunatelly I can not…..the public_html folder is behind password protection and has to remain like this…
Here is how it looks like: http://i42.tinypic.com/el5xft.png
And here how I set it up: http://i44.tinypic.com/2dgmhqa.png
The point is putting all the 4 first fields together as long as 25% is chosen for them.
Just tell me If I can give you more info coz Im getting crazy with this matter :-)
Cheers!
Yeah, I guess that I can live with the fact that the sorting does not pull data from other pages.
Could you suggest the starting point? portfolio.php?
Thanks Devin, that is clear.
My problem is that if I define many portfolio categories (say 16 categories) and place them all in a sortable Portfolio Grid, the functionality gets a bit compromised (esthetics basically).
Do you think it is a lot of changes that have to be done If I wanted for example to use a drop-down in order to display all these categories?
thanks!
Just for making clear my final purpose: What I really want is being able to search through multiple portfolio categories, tags and custom fields in my portfolio and present then in a portfolio grid.
I have seen various taxonomy plugins but they speak about posts..
Which is the best way to achieve it?
Nice links, Josue.
Thanks!
